In a week or two I will start my 2nd Annual TV Tournament. Last year I started a TV Tournament that actually went the whole way and we crowned a winner. That is uncommon when it comes to TV Tournaments unless you count of course the animated ones Incrediblejeff does. I look to start my annual 2nd TV Tournament and I'm looking for Nominations there is one show that we can't put in this tournament because it won last year and that show is

So based on that I am going to put the top 9 of last year in this tournament any tv Show is eligable except for any animated TV shows because Jeff is already doing that.

Here is the 9 I am putting into the Tournament so far everything else get ur nominations if you want ur favorites put in this tournament.

Battlestar Galactica
The X-Files
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
The Walking Dead
Deadwood

I don't understand why last year's winner can't win again?

True if Breaking Bad was in this tournament it probably would have a chance to win again but since it already won I thought that other shows deserve to chance to try to win.

Yeah, I don't see the point in having the winner compete again.

Anyway, nominations...

Mad Men
Downton Abbey
Louie
Portlandia
Sherlock
Parks and Recreation
Arrested Development
30 Rock
Twin Peaks
Star Trek: The Next Generation
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
Deadwood
Seinfeld

The point would be to see if it's still number one. Can it will hold the top spot or did something new come along that people like more? Perhaps people's opinions have shifted since last year.

Well, it wouldn't be entirely fair because you know there would be people voting against it solely because it already won. I think it's a much better idea to "retire" the winners.

Smallville
Arrow
Walking Dead
Spartacus
Star Trek: The Original Series
Mad Men
Lost
True Blood
Vampire Diaries
Teen Wolf
Supernatural
Batman (60s)

The last Winner should retire

I don't understand why last year's winner can't win again?

There's no point in placing Breaking Bad in the tournament when its already won. Like the animated tournament where, when a cartoon wins, they're essentially in the "hall of fame" and isn't in the next tournament.

If you guys say so, just seems like an odd way to run a competition. Like "Sorry Tiger Woods, you won the PGA, you don't ever get to enter again." Oh well, was just curious. Thanks!

^ Old school, except for Human Target and Arrow.
Yeah.Human Target was kind of a throwback to those 80's shows, though.

Man,I miss that show.:csad:

Apart from Arrow and Psych,I really don't watch many "first run" series anymore.

Ok guys I think we have enough to start this thing. Just give me a few days to put it together and I think the 1st Matchup will start on maybe Late Saturday or Early Sunday at the Latest.

Ok guys I guess its time to start this up. I did add a few of more shows in this and the way I started this last year was have 3 shows against each other in the 1st round. I decided to go that way again. So lets get this started and since this is Superhero forum what better way than to start of with some old school superhero tv shows.

The Flash (1990)

VS.

The Incredible Hulk (1978)

VS.

Batman (1960's)

Whoever gets to 5 1st will win the match or whoever is ahead in a day or two will move on.
