Kelvin, a friend I met on thatguywiththeglasses.com back in 2009, is continuing having trouble with:

  • his abusive uncle who is threatening to make him get a job even though he's aware of the fact that Kelvin has autism.
  • his favorite Youtuber (TheMysteriousMrEnter) being shut down by a corrupt Viacom representative
  • a female supremacist Comicvine member named Coral Wyvern who may be part of an online female supremacy cult that includes members of Youtube and Viacom.
  • external sensory phenomenon such as green lights in the sky and strange audio sounds without an apparent source.
Kelvin ran away from his uncle 2 days ago and went on Comicvine to demand that the members there send him money to pay for an apartment since he has nowhere else to live. You can read that here:

The members of Comicvine outright mocked him and worse than that, refused to pay for an apartment for him. Kelvin is 26 years old, no job, and has autism, so let me ask you this:

Should I invite him to come stay with me? The problem? Kelvin lives on the east coast while I live more towards the west. I've never met him in person before but I've talked to him on Skype several times in the past year. Is that really something I'm willing to do is something I need to ask myself. I don't know if I can afford to take on something who essentially is a mentally stunted adult named Kelvin.

No. Get in touch with his immediate family and let him stay there. How do you know that this friend isn't lying?

I would not. Sounds like he has a ton of problems and I would not want to get involved with that for someone I really don't know outside a few times we talked and never in person. If it was close family, like my sister or something absolutely, but not in this case for Kelvin.

Oh please. A 26 year old is being "threatened" to get a job. How "abusive"? :whatever:

Unless this guy is seriously rain-man autistic, then he should still get a job. If he just has asperger's or something, he can still work. People with down-syndrome work at the McDonald's near me for god sakes.

[*]his favorite Youtuber (TheMysteriousMrEnter) being shut down by a corrupt Viacom representative

Wow, what a hard time he's going through. His favorite YouTube channel was shut down... Is anyone reading this and shaking their head in disbelief as they compare their real-world problems to Kelvin's internet and uncle dramas?

[*]a female supremacist Comicvine member named Coral Wyvern who may be part of an online female supremacy cult that includes members of Youtube and Viacom.

Oh my god. Is Kelvin part of the Men's Rights movement or something? Yes, a female supremacist is part of a cult that wants to destroy Kelvin. This is insane. Where's my popcorn?

I….. can't even.

Sounds…… reasonable.

The members of Comicvine outright mocked him and worse than that, refused to pay for an apartment for him.

The entitlement here is baffling….. Why the hell would people on the internet have to pay for Kelvin's apartment? This is just…. my god. Your friend's problem isn't being autistic; it's being supremely entitled and self-important.

If you let him stay with you, Kelvin will be there forever. And then will demand you buy him his own apartment and bankroll him. Because a cult of females want to kill him and take down all his favorite YouTube channels or something.

This is…. just….. ugh….

My cousin is autistic and he's had a job since he was 15 and he's 21 now. Autistic don't mean you can't have a normal life.

Even rain man could count cards like a boss

Everyone should click that Comicvine thread for some good laughs. That's pretty much how we would have reacted too.

I mean, helping people who are in a tough spot is a good thing to do, and sometimes folks really do need some outside help to get themselves back on their feet, but half of this guy's problems sound like petty ******** or completely made up. Like, "a female supremacist Comicvine member named Coral Wyvern who may be part of an online female supremacy cult that includes members of Youtube and Viacom" is not a real thing. That is fake. We don't live in a world where that happens.

Like, sure, if you can do it without being too burdened and if you really think he needs it, let him crash at your place. But he sounds like a paranoid delusional MRA whack job.

If CardinalRed is naive enough to let this delusional mess stay with him, he deserves the living nightmare he's in store for.

So, I read the comic vine link. Either this guy is a troll, or he is in desperate need of psychiatric care. Visual hallucinations and paranoid delusions are symptomatic of something a lot more severe than autism.

Good, it's already been said.

Cardinal, like KRYPTON INC. and Feenix said in your other thread, you need help.
Your friend Kelvin needs help too, and I don't mean the kind of letting him stay at your place.

How well do you know your friend anyway? You know him personally or online only?

Yeah, I'm calling it. This is some kind of ****** prank. One guy being this delusional I could believe. Another guy who's never met him in person not questioning it at all? This is somebody playing a prank who forgot to be funny or have a point.

Full disclosure: I know that keeping Kelvin in my care could very well end up being a burden and maybe even a danger. If I don't help him though, who will? His uncle who is going to make him work outside, or someone who can partially understand where he's coming from, seeing as I have a less-severe form of autism than he does. I don't know how much of what Kelvin is saying is true, I do believe him about the lights because I overheard his uncle talking about them on Skype, and I am upset about MrEnter too, so I see where Kelvin's coming from to an extent.

I don't even know if I could get him here though.

There are homeless combat veterans on the street with serious physical and mental disabilities. This guy sounds like a spoiled jackass who needs a kick in the ass.

Exactly.
I'm looking up to see what this could be, if not trolling.

If you both have similar symptoms, and that means none of you is good to have a job, then how are you going to take care of your "friend", exactly?

Exactly.

I live with my parents, but unlike Kelvin's parents, they know it would be unwise to kick me out of the house. This whole situation goes to show that you shouldn't force people with autism outside of their comfort zone.

I have no idea what I'm reading. But no, you shouldn't let him stay with you.

Your friend needs the kind of help that you are not trained or authorized to give him. If you really care about him, you should encourage him to go to a mental health facility. Anything else is enabling.

Sorry, I don't mean to be a jerk but that working outside bit made me laugh :lmao:

Is he a vampire? Will direct sunlight kill him?

In all seriousness I'm sure there are charitable organisations and medical facilities that can help him. You might be better off advising him on looking to them for assistance.

Nothing is truly certain, and it is always possible (if of course HIGHLY unlikely) that Mr. Kelvin is in reality being stalked by some kind of supernatural floating green lights as part of an evil scheme by a female-supremacist cult to get certain you tubers accounts suspended, but it is more likely that these would be the result of some kind of delusion or hallucinatory medical condition, and likelier still that this whole thing is some kind of half-assed attempt at a prank, because the notion that Mr. Cardinal Red would entertain even the possibility of such a paranormal feminist conspiracy is dubious at best.
