My Mouse Stopped working

So I had a mouse that was stopping working, though it lit up still....anyway I bought a new mouse and for no reason it just stopped working outright.....It doesn't even light up, in any USB ports on my Laptop....but I dug out the old one, it still doesn't work, but it does light up.

Is there a problem here or is the mouse just ****ed? Oh and it's like....two weeks old.

Hm.. I had a laptop that had a similar problem. But because both of your mouses aren't working in any of the ports, there is probably something wrong with them. Does anything else work in your USBs? If so, only thing I could recommend is that you install up to date drivers.. That worked with the mouse I use now.

Yeah, my Camera still works, and the one mouse legitametaly stopped working, but it still lights up...the current mouse doesn't even light up.

Funny thing is yesterday, I finally threw out the packaging and stuff that had been sitting on the kitchen counter for two weeks.....Oh well, it was a cheap mouse anyway.

Well Actually My Mouses....Mice? don't work in any port...and My Camera actually doesn't work in the port either....in any port....Damn...I was thinking this was an open shut case of crappy Mouse..

So do usb ports just stop working just like that? Anyway...How do I do this Data Port Upgrade thing?

Cause I have a mass storage device with a lot of stuff on it and I'll need the USB ports working again.....Dammit.

Odd thing....all say yesterday nothing would work in my USB ports...today it all works again.......'m scared.

NO every USB port stopped working for Two mouses, Mice? a Camera and a controller......

Okay,I'm confused. I thought you said that they are working now. That's why I thought maybe there was something stuck in the USB ports and that it worked itself out,became removed from putting the cables in and out a few times.. But you're saying the mice and camera are still not working?
Maybe use some electronic Endust or a can of air,maybe it's a contact issue.
I don't know, I give up.....

No they work now, but before they weren't working, they didn't work un any of the many posrts.

Well...About ten minutes ago it stopped again....the exact same situation as the other day.....

Can you contact the manufacturer of your lap top via on line?Maybe they can help.

It works when I turn off my compter and boot it back up.
