There were a bunch of ghetto people in the back row, and every time ANYTHING happened, they would all start cackling like a pack of hyenas. I mean, everyone laughs at things like Bruce Campbell's cameo or Peter's dancing, but these people just DIDN'T HAVE A FREAKIN' CLUE as to when laughing wasn't appropriate. Every time there was a serious scene or a character started crying, these bozos would start laughing like they were watching Who's Line.

I loved the movie but now I'll have to see it again, just so I can get a better grasp of what it's emotional content was. Did anyone else have their experiece marred by a bunch of idiots who just plain sucked at watching movies? :(

By a whole bunch of 13 year old...Immature lil kids, they kept laughing as well and making fart noises. They also called peter gay made me very upset. That's how you know this movie wasn't that great. They just weren't that into. Hey man you find jack asses all over.

In England the cinema is the hang out of the 'Chav', and believe me, they were out in full force. I've been involved in fights at the cinema before and I came close to a punch up yesterday.

Love the avatar el payaso. Ha, Cesar romero.

My audience wasn't too bad. Granted, a few very young kids were screaming at Venom, and when Bernard was giving his whole speech about how he loved Norman and Harry, a few people were laughing.

My theatre was quite stupid. I can't help but overhear people's conversations. A man was explaining the movie to his friends ... "yeah, so there's this guy that is in this field and there's an explosion and he turns to sand, than y'know Harry right? He finds his dad's eqpt and becomes Hobgoblin, than there's this kid at the Daily Bugle who gets this virus and becomes Venom, than there's a huge battle between Black Spider-Man, Sandman, Hobgoblin, and Venom ontop of the building." Once I heard this I turned around and corrected and him, and he was embarassed.

i didnt found hte crying funny. i found how they acted crying funny.
my opinion.

ALSO everyone was laughing at the symbiote Peter, when he's "emo" and messes around with his hair, was that supposed to funny or serious? Especially when he did the whip with his hair?

When Peter knocked MJ down the audience whent "ooooo" then a guy in the front row let out a big exagerated "oooo" which made the audience laugh. I sat next to this kid who was very easly amazed and amused at everything. This kid must of purposly didn't watch any trailers or go online or doesn't own a TV because he acted like he has never seen any footage before.

Usually people laughing when a scene does not call for it gets on my nerves, but this time I agree with those that did, because the 'emotional' scenes were so bad all you could do was laugh. How could you not find humour in the fact that the butler knew the truth about Harry's father's death but kept quiet for 2 YEARS or Sandman committed manslaughter but was allowed to fly away

If the movie wasn't such a mess, people wouldn't have been laughing at the wrong times.....it happened a lot in my theatre as well.

This movie makes you laugh at the drama and cry at the comedy scenes.

Ghetto people?

Yeah, those Jewish people in Poland are so annoying in a theater, here is a picture of them being escorted out by some freindly guards, serves them right!

. . or maybe you were talking about black people . .

you would think that going to the first day of spiderman 3 at 4:00 in the afternoon in a theater that 95% full of people under the age of 12 would be a nightmare, but it was the one of the best audiences ive ever sat with. too bad it was the movie that ruined the mood for me.:csad:

Mine had an awful audience too. There were juveniles everywhere.

Tim you need to learn some tact..........there was a good article over at AICN about the state of cinema viewing and why ppl are sick of the experience

Yeah, I was sitting in front of a row of a bunch of Abercrombie and Fitch/Hollister wearing/flip-flop sporting brats that seemed to crack up and laugh at every solitary thing on the screen, especially the dramatic moments. I assume they were just there to mess around and get away from their parents, but don't bring that **** to the theatre...just don't.

The worse for me was Superman Returns. Kids talking on their cellphones and talking thourgh out the whole movie. When it ended I confronted them and they said nothing and just looked at me. They waited until I got to my car and yelled "F&^$ YOU!" I stood there for a second and said "Should I let that slide? Nah."You should have seen them scatter like roaches when they saw me charging at them.

While I had no intention of hurting anyone (Im 6'2 240 pounds,ex wrestler in training and boxer)I put the fear of god in them and maybe next time theyll be quiet.

Do that crap at home, make noise with your friends, but not in a theater where peopel are paying money to see something.

My audience was great...best movie experience I've had in a while!
