The Dark Knight My Trip: Stuntman Video

My first thought was "Wheee!" and then it was, "Yeah, that guy's pretty high up.

The helicopter pilots they've hired are AMAZING.

Whatever the stunt is it's going to be BADA*S

Now I just have to go feel less queasy.

Wow, that was great.

The stunt was for when Batman jumps off a rooftop and glides around.

Like at the end of Begins when Gordon gets out of the Batmobile, looks up, and you see Batman gliding across the screen.

In the video he doesent have the Batsuit on because they are going to film the final scene in Hong Kong.

Even better!

I hear what you're saying. But still, if they're going to this much trouble to practice the stunt, you'd think they'd put the suit on while they're at it. Why not practice under 'actual conditions'?

But what do I know about this sort of work. Nuthin', that's what. Thanks for the vid!

Yeah, that was the only disappointment. I really wanted to see them use the actual batsuit, but who knows, I'm sure they know what theyre doing.

DAMNNNNNNNNNNNN!!! This filming is taking ages to wrap. Everytime I come on these boards its always some new scene being filmed.

That was brilliant!

Was that the Joker? Looked a bit like the stunt man was wearing Joker clothes.

Thats what we thought at first because he was far away and it was a helicopter dragging him. Kind of like Batman '89.

But the RFK security said he was Bale's stuntman performing the Batman gliding sequence.

We went over to talk to him after the helicopter landed, and indeed he said he was Bale's stuntman, performing the Batman gliding sequence.

They'll probably do more practice runs in Hong Kong with the suit on. They'd be able to keep a lower profile there, at least from many of the fans that would post videos online.
:woot:

So... stupid question. Whats the story behind the pic of a batman suit or someone in a batman suit being hung from a street light?

The Joker thugs are using Batman as a pinniata.

Hell yeah! this is the longest filming of a movie, I've witnessed or heard of in a long long time. There's been a few movies that started filming after TDK and will do doubt be released way before it as well.

Its also the most anticipated movie of all time. Many people think its hard to believe that this is the MOST anticipated movie of all time, but I am a really hard-on movie buff, and I have never been this exited about a movie, this early.

I usually get real excited about a movie a couple of months before it comes out. Not 14 months before it comes out.

I've also never driven five hours, just to catch a glimpse of the filming!

I wonder how much they are paying him to do that crazy ****.
