Does anyone have the exact location of the Dark Knight filming locations?
The Chicago Tribune posted one recently with 33 exact addresses, but I wanted to know if anyone has more than what they offer.

Really? They gave the exact addresses!?!?!

Please share :D

oh wells i knew all that lol. I though they were exact addresses so I could go take pics and do the whole tourist thing one day lol.

There is an article accessible on the Tribune's website that mentions many of the locations. They also provide a link to a Google Map that pins each of the 34 locations for which they have the names, addresses, and relevant scene included to the right.

Here is your future tour itinerary.

Thanks, I have the actual article from the Tribune, but this might be more helpful because there are pictures of it. I actually did the whole "tourist" thing yesterday, even though I'm from Chicago. Some of the major highlights were the Garage Scene w/ Scarecrow on Raldolph. Joker/Batman confrontation on LaSalle on Monroe - try to look for the Starbucks that's there, it's clearly visible in the movie.
I tried finding the "Sweet Home Chicago" store that you can see in the movie, but it wasn't there. I'm thinking they might've gotten rid of it - the movie was filmed a year ago.
If anyone has any other "Chicago" locations, please let me know.

So randomly booked a trip to Chicago for the weekend (leaving tomorrow morning) and this location is 1 mile from my friends apartment. If I'm at the intersection, will the Wayne Enterprises building (obviously something else) stick out to me?

Any other cool Batman related sites to see?

The corner of Franklin and Van Buren is where they shot the opening scene with the Joker standing on the corner with the mask in his hand, waiting to be picked up. He was standing on the southwest corner, and the camera was aimed east. You can see the "catwalk" bridge that goes between 2 buildings to the east, about 2 blocks away. It's fairly prominent in that shot in the movie.

Damn. I was in Chicago two weeks ago. Wish I knew about the website because I was trying to spot as many Gotham locations as possible. I especially wanted to see the Wayne Tower (the Board of Trade building) but only caught it from a cab. Never had the chance to walk down the same street--Lasalle apparently.

Ya know, an enterprising entrepreneur in Chicago could make a killing offering "Gotham City Tours" to the tourists. I'm just saying.

I wouldn't be surprised if those were already in effect. People keep trying to make money off TDK any way they can and Chicagoans have the advantage of giving tours.

this is great! I wish I had a reason to be in Chicago sometime soon...I just don't think I'll get clearance to travel 12 hrs for a Dark Knight reality tour. :yay:
