Nathan Fielder's The Rehearsal

Not sure about this. I absolutely LOVED Nathan for You but I’m not sure this concept is as strong or interesting.

That guy immediately made my "Danger! Sprititual whackjob!!!' alarms go off and boy were those alarms not in error.

Love this show.
I broke over the license plate and his insistence on driving impaired.

Just caught up. The digital mirror in the "Gold Digger" episode made me laugh so hard.
That felt like a pretty expensive gag, for a whole 3 seconds. :funny:

I still can't get over him bringing the recreation of the bar with him. And the guy trying to hold onto what he thought was a real inheritence. I don't know what I expected from this, but Fielder has got me again.

And the shots of the crew member climbing through the window to replace the real kid with the robot is the funniest thing.

Fake Kor was in The Dark Knight!

I hope no one ever asks me what this show is about because I don't know if I could explain it without spending a half hour going into him impersonating a student at an academy founded by him and taught by an impersonator of him.

I'll be surprised if this season doesn't break Nathan.

I have to wonder just how long it took to film this season and plan everything out. Like, I assume those actors playing the other actors had to rehearse a bit to get into character, lol. This show is a mind****.

This show is so ridiculous with a concept that shouldn’t work and it’s completely insane in the best possible way. I can’t even fathom the amount of work that has to be done for this, Nathan Fielder is an absolute genius.

I have to wonder about some of the people he managed to get to appear on this show. The woman in the house “raising” a child is clearly doing this just to have a free vacation for a few months lol. But those actors… I get that you take any gig you can get as a struggling actor but you have to be pretty damned desperate to stalk someone for a week and then low-key assume their identity.

If we don’t get confirmation if this whole thing was real or fake, it will be the most frustrating thing.

They saw the Westworld finale and were like, "oh, you thought that was nuts". Amazing.

I think it’s a good thing that you’re sad… it shows you have a heart, it shows you can feel, you can love, and put your trust into others.

This show was great. I still liked the first episode the best since it was standalone. But Nathan’s interactions when he was pretending to be a dad are some great comedy bits. I’m still not completely convinced it isn’t all scripted but whether or not, it’s hilarious.
