NBC's Cruel Intentions - SMG Returns!

She's doing pretty well with Rebels.

Voice acting is good and all, but it doesn't even get across one of Sarah's best acting talents. Her facial reactions and timing with them.

I don't think SMG is doing much worse than a lot of actors just coming of a successful TV series. Sometimes it just takes a few tries to find that thing that works. Boreanaz and Alyson Hannigan were just very fortunate to find projects that had legs as quickly as they did. The thing about SMG is that she spent a good deal of time post-Buffy doing films with varying levels of success and it took her a while to decide to dip her toe into TV again, and with each of the projects she's taken on, there's a decent length of time between them, as opposed to her jumping right into a new thing.

I hope this works out for her. I think there's a good chance it can.

Peter Gallagher Cast in NBC’s ‘Cruel Intentions’ Revival (EXCLUSIVE)
Gallagher will play Edward Valmont, the father of the late Sebastian (Phillippe), who is described as a sexy, beguiling, sophisticated, powerful and ruthless billionaire hotel magnate with fingers in many far-reaching financial pies — some legal, some not so much. Edward is delighted to discover that he’s got a long-lost grandson in the newly arrived Bash Casey and once the DNA test proves his claim, Edward immediately starts grooming Bash for a life of impossible wealth and opportunity.

Anyone here like Cruel Intentions 2? It has been a while since I seen it, but I remember liking it.

Funnyordie or Billy Eichner need to do a video piece with her called "Sarah Michelle Gellar reads famous movie lines while almost crying, but not actually crying."

omgggggggggggg

Come on bro, if you're going to do a complete 180 over one woman, set your sights a bit higher. Like a multiple Oscar and BAFTA winner like Dame Maggie Smith.

Pink, you know full well that, when we drew up our "Who Would You Go Straight For?" contract, you got all the over-60s.

Hellz yeah. There's a portrait of Monica Bellucci in my bedroom with a digital display counting down from 8 years.

Looking good.

Tvline made a good casting point: Bring in Katie Cassidy as Kathryns protege.

I won't oppose. Cassidy does those types of characters really well.

Dan Fogelman‘s off-cycle NBC dramedy pilot 36 continues to be featured high on the list of hopefuls, with Time, Cruel Intentions and Miranda’s Rights also in contention as NBC may be weighing Chicago Justice vs Miranda’s Rights as a new legal franchise, and Miranda’s Rights vs Cruel Intentions as a new primetime soap, a genre NBC had been looking to crack this development season.
Don't you take this away from me, NBC. :o

I still cant forgive NBC for messing up Wonder Woman so they better give me CI and it better be must see tv.

I don't see why you'd hold WW against them after all this time. At least they had the sense not to air the damn thing.

‘The Blacklist’ Spinoff Picked Up To Series By NBC, ‘Cruel Intentions’ Still Alive
There is no decision yet on another NBC pilot that had been expecting to hear its fate, Cruel Intentions.

As for Cruel Intentions, based on the cult movie, I hear that it remains in consideration for an order — possibly for summer, which would require a budget adjustment — or redevelopment. That likely won’t be decided until after NBC’s upfront presentation on Monday. None of the other NBC pilots that had not been picked up to series are believed to still be alive.
Don't you f*** with me, NBC. :o

SMG is cursed. :waa:

Wasting SMGs time like that and my emotions! I'm suing for emotional stress.

It isn't over yet, you fools! :argh:
