Neca's Player Select

So As You all know Neca kinda Rules. They Kinda Really Rules. And the Are probably the Leading Manufacturer of Movie based Toys, well it's close but McFarlane doesn't do much anymore......

Anyway they made fig Fanboys cream the **** outta thier pants when they made the incredibly awesome and obvious move that was never thought of before on this scale. They included video games. (McF has done it but not on the wide scale)

They Gave us Player Select

Lara Croft From Tomb Raider, Kain from Legacy of Kain and Agent 47 from Hitman.

These were followed up by Kratos from God Of War

Wonderful Renditions of our favorite characters from modern games....the Player Select line stands poised to overshadow the greatness of Cult Classics simply because video game characters (Digitally Rendered) translate better to action figures. And the Cult Classics for the most part are Phenomenal.

Then one fine day Neca made another announcement that would make many of the older fanboys cream in thier pants even more than the young whipersnappers did earlier. They announced a Castlevania line.

The First wave is to Include the main Protagonist of the early series Simon Belmont (Seen Above) The Villain throught the series Dracula, His son Alucard (From Castlevania 3 and SOTN) and a common reacurring boss villain the Succubus.

Now yes I know there have been more modern renditons of all of these characters but the sheer face that they are making a figure of a classic 2D character from the 8 bit ages opens up all kinds of possibilities for the future of the line.

Kuros and Malkil from Wizards & Warriors

Can't find a pic of Malkil

Neca could awesome the hell out of Mega Man from Mega Man

Though the sheer amount of variant potentials just screams Sota

Pit From Kid Icarus

Okay now I just want my Own N-Team roster.....

Little Mac and Anyone else from Punch Out

And Of course this line would need a Snake

Preferable Young and Based off of his First (And 8 bit) Adventure

Other Classic Games that could make thier way into this line could Include:

And piss lots more, and that's without delving into fighting games.


And I think as an Awesome addidtion a small pre posed figure featuring an accurate depiction of thier original 8 bit sprite would rock, or small sold pice figures of glassic Characters from other games, like Bubble Bobble or the Ship from Galaga or a mini Excite Bike or Super Sprint or Q-bert or a Duck from Duck Hunt or the Plane from 1942

And Bases for these figures could either be original designs based off of th games or soething as simple as a scale NES Controller with foot pegs

These are great figures, i actually have the varient lara croft in her union jack outfit and the normal version of hitman, some of those ideas for future series are awesome i would really love them to make a monkey island series ( i know its a long shot but if any company should make this line of figures it has to be neca)t:

I'm really looking forward to this line from NECA. I love there Cult Classics & if they show Player Select the same love & attention it'll be a huge hit I'm sure.
Anyway, some video game characters I'd like to see are...

Alice (w/ Chesire Cat) - American McGee's Alice.
Link - The Legend of Zelda series.
Zelda - The Legend of Zelda series.
Cortez - Timesplitters series.
Samus Aran - Metroid series.
Captain Falcon - F-Zero series.

...that's all I can think of right now. American McGee's Alice is in the middle of being made into a movie so I wouldn't be disappointed at all to see that crop up in the CC line instead.

I never even mentiones Neca's line of Resident Evil....But for Mortal Kombat, Dos, I would prefer Sota to have them, even the Jazzwares ones now are't that bad.....I would prefer some Articulation and durability like the Stret Fighter ones.

And Neca should fight like Hell for the Nintendo Liscense

Plus If the Castlevania line does well that will sway Konami even more and make a Metal Gear line all the more likely.

I love the videogame figures from NECA. My Kain's sword broke off the hilt, but they said they would send me a replacement for free which was really cool of them...

I'm interested in Castlevania, and got the two God of War figures which kick ass. I also own all the RE figures so far, and can't wait for the next (though I want Carlos, Wesker and a few more human figures).

I also heard the next series will have dante....

Dante and Vergil hopefully...Hell even Nelo Angelo would suffice.

Wesker still NEEDS to be made, and we're still waiting for that Crimson Head and Tyrant from Toy Fair. Anyone know when those come out?

Yeah, the first series had Full ML Stule Articulation but the looks sucked like hell......but the new ones look way better, ut have worse articulation....Can't they just find a winning Combo.

Gears of war now thats a great idea, i would like to see them make some killer instinct figures i used to love that game and also some broken sword figures would be great, but like the monkey island i mentioned earlier this is another long shot

Even if Neca Made them I woulnd't get any Halo figs.....But yeah I kinda forgot about the other ones....
