So Im about to finally upgrade and get myself a new PC. My current one is an outdated Athlon 1500+ at 1.35ghz, 768mb memory and a Geforce MX4000. I've narrowed my choices down and Im definetly either going to get 1) PC#1 and 2)PC#2
They pretty much have the same exact specs except PC #2 is a Core 2 Duo E6400 with a Geforce 7600GS, while PC #1 is an E6300 with a 7300LE. PC #1 also comes with a free printer and LCD monitor, which I need since mine broke down a few weeks ago. I figure if I can get a monitor and a printer on Black Friday next week, the difference between the 2 is about $120. My question is, is the 6400 and 7600GS worth the $120 difference? Is there a big difference between the CPU speeds or graphics card? Im not a big PC gamer. I got my first graphics card in Feb and the only games Ive really played in the past few months have been Sims 2, Swat 4 and Unreal Tournament 2004 and not even all that much. Thanks in advance for any help
