So Im about to finally upgrade and get myself a new PC. My current one is an outdated Athlon 1500+ at 1.35ghz, 768mb memory and a Geforce MX4000. I've narrowed my choices down and Im definetly either going to get 1) PC#1 and 2)PC#2

They pretty much have the same exact specs except PC #2 is a Core 2 Duo E6400 with a Geforce 7600GS, while PC #1 is an E6300 with a 7300LE. PC #1 also comes with a free printer and LCD monitor, which I need since mine broke down a few weeks ago. I figure if I can get a monitor and a printer on Black Friday next week, the difference between the 2 is about $120. My question is, is the 6400 and 7600GS worth the $120 difference? Is there a big difference between the CPU speeds or graphics card? Im not a big PC gamer. I got my first graphics card in Feb and the only games Ive really played in the past few months have been Sims 2, Swat 4 and Unreal Tournament 2004 and not even all that much. Thanks in advance for any help

If you want to buy a new PC, go with Geforce 8800 GTX or GT.
It´s not cheap, but, with the arrival of Vista and direct X10, is totally worth it.

But, of the two, go with Gateway GM5266E Minitower

You could get more bang for your buck if you used a site like cyberpowerpc.com and assembled one yourself.

I did this and got top of the line from 2004 just last year and saved a couple hundred dollars
