Comics Need some help.

You mean like the ones that Marvel assigns to their heroes? Because I don't think DC does that.

The other problem is that the extent of Superman's abilities change based on the era you're reading, as well as any specific writer's tastes. Sometimes he can bench-press the equivalent weight of a few respectable-sized planets and fly so fast he transcends the laws of relativity, and at other times he struggles with an airliner and has the Flash leave him in the dust where speed is concerned. So really, his 'stats' can be whatever you want them to be.

are you planning to fight Superman?

Inconsistencies abound in comics. The stronger or more powerful a character is the more inconsistently he/she is written IMO.

They've licensed their characters to several Paper & Pencil RPG companies over the year and paper & pencil RPGs usually have statistics up the yin yang.

The first one, Mayfair Games DC Heroes Roleplaying Game (1986 or 87) was crammed with 'em.

Of course character's get revamped. The Superman of the first edition of the game had a Strength of 50 (2 to the 50th times a normal human) and could push it to 2^100, easily enough to move planets. 2nd edition came post Byrne and dropped him to STR 25 with a potential of reaching his old 'normal' super strength level.

Did any of the Who's Who? books give specifics on weight lifted and top speed?
