Heck, it wouldn't take a death. All it would take is a few scrapes and broken bones from tripping and falling while running at full speed . . . then the bleeding hearts and "panty-waists" would come out of their fantasy worlds screaming about cruelty, abuse, etc. And, once again, the men and women who put their lives at risk on a daily basis to help protect our society would be pressured to give up yet another device that can allow them to stop a criminal while minimizing the personal risk to themselves.
