Netflix pulls episode of Maya the Bee due to phallic drawing in background

Maya the Bee? More like Maya the D. Amirite? Amirite??

Before I saw the picture, I assume it was something vaguely phallic, like...a banana or something. But that image there is pretty on the nose.

Oh no! A crudely drawn phallic symbol. Now the children will ask what a penis is and the world will end. :wow:

Heh.....yea that image doesn't leave a lot of room for ambiguity.

Of course children likely have no idea what it is but the parents must be outraged for them.

Well...there's no other way to interpret that. It's quite clearly a penis.

And of course, parents being more outraged than they ought to be. Truly some things never change. :funny:

As clear as it is to adults, kids aren't going to understand or probably care. But parents need to be outaged over something and this week is phallic images. Shades of Little Mermaid all over again.

On the one hand, it's a weird thing to try to slip in there unnoticed. On the other, it's a crude drawing of part of the male anatomy, it's not like one of the characters is bending another character over a tree stump or something. :o

This reminds me of a woman who has so far been banned 3 times on Instagram for "lewd use of fruit." Absolutely nothing nude or sexual but the way she uses her fingers makes the fruits look vaguely like female genitalia.

Seriously. She takes a slice of orange and suddenly people see a vagina and freak the **** out.

Good timing for the documentary "Who Drew the *****" coming out.
