well i can already see a change in editing, the beast reunion displayed here, had some different angles than the one shown with the 7 minute preview, plus more talking.
i cant believe they released the young warren clip! ugh.
i really pictured something darker. but the scene is still effective.
based on these clips and not the iffy reviews ive been reading, i will say i am still looking forward to this. im really concerned with the running time, but the scenes seem long enough thus far. and this is coming from the most doubtful person on these boards. AND IT'S NEXT WEEK! FINALLY!

btw that Pyro clip was just outstanding , as far as character wise, he really lives up to that 'dangerous mutant' line in X2.

I like it though, but DAMN. Save Some surprises for the movie... :B

It Is a very shocking scene.
when i first read about it, i was like Ouch.
but it represents a very important issue, that the majority of kids have, which is fearing their own parents.
i love how this movie is laced with so many issues that we commonly face.
as with the rogue scene, i thought that really demonstrates an abortion predictment.
and the beast's looks, and how he's even taunted by a potential ally.
im surprised these things have been mentioned in interviews, cause i think they relate more to mutantcy than gays and jews, as mckellen has pointed out several times. its all the same sort of thing, acceptance, but i dont think they are giving its full potential credit of all the things it stands for.
my family had gathered the other day, and my grandma has been obsessing about the controversy over the davinci code, and i interrupted them, and tried explaining how much more important the subject matter of the x-men was, they pretty much ignored it as a fantasy, and then i started in on how the bible was no less a fantasy, but anyway you get my drift, i think.

Quill is going to be a joke of a character isn't he... The best he can do against storm is make his head spikey? "Good luck with that..."

And I hope the way that beast scene is cut is the way it is in the final film. It's much better there with a close-up of beast.

This movie above all else, should make people think about all the real life issues from which its story seems to be based. YeS... Just seeing young angel try to painfully fit in by mutilating himself should show how damaging intolerance can be for adults as well as children.
