I just watched the first 2 discs of Season 1 and they were amazing Im going to Blockbuster to get the rest of the seaon tom. I must say thatit is freaking incredible. Is season 2 this good? I hear it teeters off but if it is anywhere near as cool as this im totally sold no matter what. I know this may not require a thread but the whol section hear is clouted with Season 3 stuff. SO yeah does peter get cooler? Tell me he does, but dont spoil ANYTHING not a damn thing. Im just freaking out, I think by far my fav. Characters are Peter and Nathan. Such a good show, Feel free to give me non-spoiler season two reviews and season 1. Did the writers strike hurt it that much? Thanks guys/gals ill be here alot next season.

NO. Season two was barely meh. Writer's strike killed it.

Don't spoil season one by watching season two... ever. Just read up on the story on the internet and save your time and money. Maybe find one of those sites where people upload tv shows if you really want to see the few good moments in it.

Ok I say ill skip out on it but I don't think i will be able to let go of these characters.

Like I mentioned in between my hating very much of season two... which was a complete letdown.

Find a site online that has them uploaded so you don't waste money on them. I even forget the one or two episodes that were actually good.

wow they dropped the ball that much? What a shame, well oh well im sure 3 will be okay.

You should watch season 2 anyways, otherwise you don't know what the hell is going in season 3. Of course it isn't as good as season 1 but it's still watchable. And you should definitely watch Cautionary Tales aka the best episode of the season.

Definitely watch season two anyway, despite what anyone says. There are still some great episodes and moments within the season.

You'll also be totally thrown off once season three starts if you don't.

Also, Bob, Elle and Adam make season 2 worth watching (as does Monica's ability) if nothing else does

Well I planned on buying it on weds, so yeah im going to watch it. I just think it sucks that it wasnt as good.

I got a good deal on the 1st season set at Costco; it was around $11 after a coupon and rebate. I watched the last two plus dvds in a marathon session Saturday night and finished about 8 a.m. Sunday morning. I couldn't always be in front of a TV during the original run, so add to that the hiatus, and what seemed to be a commercial after every other sentence dampened my enthusiam. The episodes are much more enjoyable with out commercials, and complete. It was nice to see Missy Pile in one episode; I love all of her work. I'm glad I bought it; the series is pretty good.

Yeah season 1 in stores (at least near me) is like $50

I bought mine online for at least half that, I don't remember exactly.

hey Hush, I'd strongly recommend you get the first season, it's very enjoyable upon repeated viewings
we're getting season two as soon as possible, because I know the 11 episodes that could air will be even more enjoyable back to back with no commercials

I'd say you rent S2 and then decide if you want to buy it

Thanks Plas yeah i think ill give it all a go and maybe buy them later hwne the funds are available.

SO was anyone else shocked that they wiped Mr. Bennets mind? I mean I thought they would set it up but man oh man. I just finished that episode so don't spoil anything but that was ****ing crazy.

Yeah when I saw that episode I had the same reaction. It's crazy!

best episode in the season, I'd say best episode so far
here's hoping for the next season

Yeah it was just phenominal, and im loving Sylar, he is the best TV villian of all time no questions asked. Deliciously Evil, though Rosenbaum as Lex in Smaville is a very close second.

Season two is worth watching, it's so short you can fly through it. It's not nearly as bad viewed as a whole. Something about having to wait in between episodes made it seem less impressive. I didn't think it was quite as bad as everyone says it is.

once people start seeing it on DVD their minds will change about it

"5 Years gone" was amazing but it is seriously in a tie with "Company Man". I just finished the seaosn and i am going to buy Season 2 on tuesday, this show is amazing and i know Peter lives but i have to find out about Nathan, dont tell me. What night does this play on so I can set my DVR to record both this and Smallville?

Don't worry guys i should own season 2 on tuesday.

Awesome. In all honesty, the dislike of S2 is blown way out of proportion. It wasnt terrible, it was just a little disappointing. Mostly the fact that it was cut short by the damn writers strike.
