Itagaki really needs to have Hayate in Ninja Gaiden 2 in some form or another. I think it'll be great for him to be backing Ryu instead of Ayane.

Itagaki wants to keep the NG and DOA franchises separate (as to not disrupt the excellent storytelling of DOA's rivalries), but Hayate would be pretty cool.
