Because it is a fact that 99.99% of people become the mental equavilant of 4 year-olds when they see the Joker. I think it speaks to the officers manliness that he didnt poo himself at the mere sight of the Joker lol

See, that's exactly why all the spoilers don't bother me. Gotta see this in IMAX. Trucks and skyscrapers and huge explosions, shot in the highest possible definition, demand the biggest possible screen.

And not just once, either. Nolan makes films that demand repeat viewings.
