Young undercover cop Billy Costigan (Leonardo DiCaprio) is assigned to infiltrate the mob syndicate run by gangland chief Costello (Jack Nicholson). While Billy is quickly gaining Costello's confidence, Colin Sullivan (Matt Damon), a hardened young criminal who has infiltrated the police department as an informer for the syndicate, is rising to a position of power in the Special Investigation Unit. Each man becomes deeply consumed by his double life, gathering information about the plans and counter-plans of the operations he has penetrated. But when it becomes clear to both the gangsters and the police that there's a mole in their midst, Billy and Colin are suddenly in danger of being caught and exposed to the enemy – and each must race to uncover the identity of the other man in time to save himself.

The man is back. For all the great reasons to see this movie, the Jack / Scorcese union is numbero uno.

Yeah Scorsese+Nicholson should be good.
I'm not a fan of Dicaprio, Walhberg and Damon though so this will probably be just a rent for me.

Well, DiCaprio have become more taleneted actor since I saw first time Basketball Diaries.

Damon also grew up on my eyes after Bourne movies.

This sounds good. I like the plot, I'm going see this one. I like gangster movies.

You guys do know this is a remake of a Hong Kong film called 'Infernal Affairs', which is an incredible movie! I don't think this film can approach that one though, as much as I love Scorsese and a lot of the cast here. I'm not a fan of remakes as it is.

Yea I didnt like his last movie The Aviator but Gangs of New York, Goodfellas, and Casino are still one of my favs! Im looking foward to this movie.

I maintain that one of the main reasons movies suck today is because ******* fanboys on the Internet are becoming a little bit to vocal, and inspiring timidity and a fear of risk in directors.

He made two of the most important and stylistic movies EVER with Taxi Driver and Raging Bull. Judging him just by his recent output is just wrong.

I hope this is good,i loved the original and it seems Scorsese is changing quite a bit so it won't be a straight remake and has the potential to be better IMO

That isn't even an opinion. It is a proven fact.

You clearly do not know good cinema if you think Scorcese has no style.
