Have any of you guys ever had that feeling? Like, you see the trailer and your pumped from the get-go, you cant wait to see the movie, but when you see it in full, its like a slap in the face? I've had that feeling plenty of times.

Example: Superman Returns.

Men in black2 it looked really good. it wasn't as good as the first moive. it still is one of my favorite movies.

Teange mutant ninja tutles 3
The hulk the first one with erice banna
Ghostrider it still one of my favorite moives

The Big Hit
Looked like a cool action flick in the trailer.
The movie was a dumb, obnoxious mess

Aliens vs. Predator Requiem's red band trail made the film look like it was at least competent. It turned out to be the worst movie I have ever seen.

Smokin' Aces had some of the coolest trailers I've ever seen. The movie is bad beyond description.

I loved the Bad Boys 2 teaser trailer. The second one was average, the film itself was crap.

Superman Returns for sure. I love that trailer. I even find myself watching it on youtube every so often.

I also agree with The Big Hit. I only saw a commercial for a tv presentation of it and thought it looked like a funny actioner but was incredibly hammy.

I thought the Ghost Rider trailer was pretty nifty......:(

Those were good times. The X-boards pre-X3 days that is.

White Noise had a pretty intriguing trailer, the movie was complete garbage though.

Now if we were talking about GREAT movies with BAD trailers?

In Bruges comes in first place. Like in a "Michael Phelps" kind of way. The trailer no way resembled what the movie was actually about.

C'mon did any of you really think Ghost Rider would be a good movie, look at the trailer with all it's chessy lines, you had to know it wasn't gonna be good. Also anyone on here that thought X-Men 3 would be as good as the first two isn't paying attention, we knew it was rushed, directed by a no plot, pretty explosions director, the writing was on the wall.

For me the big one was Indepence Day, hadn't seen a Roland/Emmerich movie yet, so didn't know what to expect, but those shots of the White House getting blown up sold me.

Another was Godzilla by Roland/Emmerich, knew it wouldn't be that good because they were the people behind ID4, but the ad campaign finally sold me. I didn't have high expectations to begin with, but the turd that this movie was couldn't even live up to my already low expectations.

I forgot to add

Vantage Point
Tropic Thunder
Everything is Illuminated
