Bob Barker endorsed his friend Rosie O'Donnell as a possible successor on "The Price Is Right," although the newly retired host isn't sure CBS wants a woman to take over the game show.
"I believe they're going to have a meeting with Rosie," Barker said backstage Friday night at the Daytime Emmy Awards, where he won his 19th trophy.
"She knows the show," he said. "There's no doubt in my mind she could do the show. Now, whether they want a lady host, I don't know. I've never heard that discussed. As far as I know, they've only auditioned men."

Rosie needs to go away completely. I hate her nasty whiney voice, her ugly pug face, and her annoying holier-than-thou personality.

I think Bruce Campbell should host. Think about it. He aint doing much nowadays, he'd be very funny and charismatic.

exactly.. she's gonna host some type of game show from what i've read and I have a VERY STRONG FEELING that any hosting job she gets will have a billion stipulations tied the the contract about the fact that she has to be A HOST, and not a personality...

so you can hate the idea of her as a host, but you're all being a bit silly to assume rosie's 'price is right' would be REMOTELY political.

yeah... i guess i don't really CARE who hosts it ultimately. maybe she would suck... i dont claim to know.

one thing i DO know is that its more than silly to claim she's going tointurpt 'plinko' to dog on wbush... its just not EVER going to happen, and anyone claiming it would is an f-ing moron.

if she does get the gig though, they should get that Elizabeth girl from 'the view' to be one of the silent models on the show who present grills and RV's and stuff.... thats a better job for her, imo.
