Damn I didnt know it was a new trailer???!!! I thought it was just the old E3 trailer but now its avaialbe to download!!! damn it looks crazy!!! I was hoping for Leon but Chris will do! Last time he was in Code Veronica on the Dreamcast!!! I remember beating that game and Chris said he was going to Europe to stop Umbrella! Not sure why he's in Africa now.

-We've had enough of Leon in RE4.

-Chris actually said he was going to Europe in his diary you find in RE2. Code Veronica happens because Claire gets caught in Europe looking for Chris. Then Chris has to go save her when Leon tells him she's been captured.

-In Wesker's Report 2, Wesker states that the T-Virus originated in Africa from the Ebola Virus. Looks like we're going back to its roots.

Damn, my favorite part of RE4 was being in the village at the beginning of the game and getting swarmed from all sides from those crazy ass villagers. RE5 looks like they took that and multiplied it by 10.

Did any Spanish complain about RE4? I know the Iranian Press complained about 300 saying that the U.S. was "attacking" Iran

I don't think it was merely the "Iranian press" that complained; members of the Iranian establishment (officials, etc) voiced their opinions; I think they were especially pissed by the fact that it was released on their New Year lol. In terms of 300, that movie is so innacurate in so many ways that it's ridiculous. Then again, it's not exactly trying to be historically truthful. LOL they made it look like those 300 dudes did that s**t all by themselves with a handful of ragtags from various parts of Greece. Wasn't it like 700 Thespians and like 900 Helots (Spartan slaves) that came to their aid? But back to RE. Yeah, the message boards are kinda heating up about this. I think it's especially the fact that it's like a white dude killing black people. Maybe people would be more comfortable if the protagonist was black? Ionno. I remember GTAIV had the same issue because it was sort of stereotypical.

For all the Sherry doubters that are still out there: Just think about it, why would Capcom bother to have Wesker mention her at the end of his report in such a foreboding manner if she wasn't planned for something sinister? The ominous message makes sense.

It's not unheard of for storytellers to actually have a laid out plan for characters long before the story is told. The epilogues in RE3 sure as hell prove it, as did the Star Wars saga.

I didnt even know about that! That part wasnt even in the game, it was on a dvd that I and probably most people never saw.

Yes-Waiting for next year will indeed suck.But at least this is on its way.RE4 knocked my socks off.And all the in-game action is shaping up to be on par-hardcore mass carnage.Theres just something thats always been terrifying about getting chomped on in RE.They nailed it in 4 with that "mob action" level of attacks.In previous REs the zombies were always more spread out.That terror element is whats lacking in many other games.I still practically have an anxiety attack while playing 4
