Newbie here w/ some talent!

hey guys! I'm fairly new to the website so I thought I'd introduce myself by showing off some of my artwork. I originally made them for a seller but he backed out on me so now I stuck w/ them until they sell. They're a 1 of a kind collection for anyone who'd want to buy em because I put ALOT of time into them. Anyways, here they are! Feel free to comment/criticize my work...

They look good... but they also look like they are entirely copied from the movie.

It's fine for practicing your art... but IMO, you're copying what a creative team did, and then trying to make money off of it.

I'd be far more impressed if you created it all yourself.

yea they are from the movie art...i won't deny that...but I am the one who drew them on canvas, not traced, and then painted them. I appreciate your criticism though...

Yeah, if you've got the skill to paint those, I'd much rather see you take on something more challenging.

Set up your own poses. Construct your own scenes. Determine your own lighting.

You'll be the better artist for it afterwards.

I have before in the past. but this particular set, like I mentioned earlier, was for a someone and he picked what he wanted me to paint...all I did was do it. I have some examples but I did em like 5 years ago and I know my paint skill has improved since....i'll still dig it up if i can find em...
