When I was little...my parents were walking me through a park. On one side of the basketball court were two guys playing basketball, and on the other were three black guys playing. Apparently I said very loudly, "I KNOW WHAT THE DIFFERENCE IS BETWEEN THOSE PEOPLE AND THOSE PEOPLE", and when my parents braced for the inevitable, I said "There's two people on that side...and three people on the other side."

When I was five, I took a trip to Florida with my grandparents. We crashed in a predominately African American town, and I'm told I asked why the people were all the wrong color.
