Nike patents plan for self-lacing BTTF2 shoe

Hate to see that shoe malfunction while the person is wearing, that ***** aint comin off

Anything to move away from traditional laces is welcomed.

The plastic tips at the ends of shoelaces are called aglets. Their true purpose is sinister

Been chumming with The Question again? :oldrazz:

Neekay will probably have them as a limited release and slap a $1,000 price tag on them.

And then slap the Michael Jordan logo on it to jack the price up 500 more bucks. :oldrazz:

Sounds cool but it took them twenty five years to start doing this? I remember when BTTF 2 and 3 came out they were talking about developing the hoverboard. I mean that was back in 1990 I think?

We are no where near the awesomeness of that future that had in BTTF 2. :cmad:

I mean, seriously, where the HELL are the flying cars?! JERKS!

My insurance is high enough. Imagine how much you'd have to pay for insurance on a flying car? No thanks.

Here's a sneak peak at the marketing campaign. :hehe:

Are 10 year olds allowed to have social lives? Things sure have changed.

15! :argh:

Actually, screw it. Yes, I'm still 10 years old even though I just started my sophomore year of high school.

Think about it, do you really want flying cars when most people can't drive in two dimensions?
I guess that means we don't want old people driving in advanced flying cars either like old Biff. :awesome:

Hah, yeah and they'll probably need another 10 years to perfect the technology and lower the price.

If they do issue a limited release then the price wouldn't be about the technology... it would be because it's a limited run. Many sneakers released in limited editions are priced very high to maintain their collectibility. Many sneakers released in the last 2 or 3 decades are more expensive now than they were when they first came out, they become vintage.

Let those ******s who can't drive a regular car stick to figuring that out. Let us good drivers take the special flying car driving test, which I'm sure if it ever happened they would have very strict testing. I am a great driver because I do this thing called...paying attention to the road and the things around me. :cmad:

There is something like that, it's called a pilot's license. :o

Damn, you guys wear chucks too....its a small world :awesome::oldrazz:

Do yours have your username customized on them?...Because mine do lol

I don't have my username customized on mine, but thanks for the idea :awesome:

I DO own quite a bit of different color Chucks. I also have some that have some crazy ass designs.

Ahhhh, Chucks! I work for a popular shoe store and we get *tons* of different styles. I own one of just about every style lol! It's a drawback of working there. I remember one time, I was helping a customer down the Chucks aisle, and someone was looking at this high top that had a collage of different images on it with the 'taylor' motif repeating over the shoe. She was like 'mom, I *totally* love Chucks, and I would like to have this one, but why does it have Taylor all over it? Why not someone else's name?' I was like

Yeah, definitely. I predict the people who buy these are not gonna want to wear them because of how much they will cost and how much of a collectible they will be.
