Regardless of what happened, it was a terrible tragedy and an atrocity. While I don't think there was anything terribly "fake" about the initial attack on the Trade Center, I'm not completely against the idea of a conspiracy, as too much doesn't add up, while at the same time, too much does. For instance, I believe it's entirely possible that Flight 93 was shot down.

Primarily, it involves setting up a series of giant holographic images, so life like, people would believe they're actually seeing a plane crash into the WTC. However, the truth is, the WTC was brought down by a controlled demolition by the government in order to begin this so called War on Terror and cause turmoil in the Middle East. Why? Gas Prices. The war in Iraq primarily has driven the price of oil to record highs. Meanwhile, all the big DC Politicians line their pockets with kickbacks from the Saudi's and other big oil companies.

science can't lie....the government can and has done it before. regardless of how 9/11 happened and what exactly happened...the US government is to blame for that tragedy and i hope i never have to experience anything like that again in my lifetime.

Pentagon:
This is the smoking gun. Conspiracy theorists should spend less time analyzing the flash before impact on the tower, gloss over that. It's fuzzy, it's brief and it's arguable. The fact that there's NO PLANE ON THE PENTAGON LAWN is kind of all you need to know. What does that mean? That means something else airborne and explosive hit the Pentagon. We call that a missile.

I had two friends up by the Pentagon when that plane hit. And, according to them, it was without a doubt a plane. I realize that there were witnesses who said they didn't see one, and plenty of others that said they did. But I trust my friends a million times more than some of these "witnesses," those conspiracy sites, or (sorry to say) you. Now, that doesn't discount the fact that there IS a conspiracy surrounding 9/11...but it damn sure was a plane that hit the Pentagon.

You can tell from the way the smoke comes out that i somethign clearly hit the building, not explosions from within. Thats not fake, you can see the little bits of smoke from where the plane went in for the split second before the fire gets out of the building.

Are you kidding me, a freaking huge ass plane crashed into the building (IT happened, blue light technolgy my ass) and let the top 20 stoies roast in gasoline and fire for an hour and what happened to it is what happens to any building that gets hit by an untreated fire-IT COLLAPSED.

My friend's mom was also near the Pentagon. She had called my dad at his office in NY to make sure he was all right, and the plane hit while they were on the phone. She saw it, she watched it go down. And I also trust her more than these conspiracies.

My dad and I were both working in midtown on 9/11. They were planes. The first flew low enough to my dad's building that the windows rattled when it passed by. My friends lived downtown, and they were on the roof when they watched the 2nd one hit. That was no holographic special effect.

As far as who didn't do enough preventing 9/11, or letting it happen, I'm all for the conspiracy theories. But for the events of that day itself, I know what I saw.

Still, this brings up the question of tower the third. No plane hit it, and it wasn't near enough to be that substantially damaged by debris, and it still went down, all the same. What, did it just decide that, after the death of it's gleaming metal brethren, it didn't want to live anymore, and just said "**** it"?

Building 7 was close enough to be damaged. It was only about 3 blocks away at the most. I've been down there, there were a lot of severely damaged buildings in the area. It's not too hard to believe that any of them would have collapsed, or that they were so badly damaged they decided to demolish it themselves rather than risk it falling at random and getting more people hurt.
