No sound on videos

When I go to MLB.com to look at clips of games or GameStop.com to look at reviews, I get no sound. My speakers are up and the volume on the video is on the max. I can hear stuff on things like YouTube but somehow I can't on those sites. I think the videos are on Windows Media Player (not sure). I even did a bunch of updates but the problem persists. Any help?

See if you can perhaps rip the video out of the site itself, and open it on your computer. For this, I recommend the DownloadThemAll addon for Firefox [since I know you use it], and then open it in VideoLAN [VCL player], which can be found on www.download.com
