BvS Nolan goes from exec. producer to no involvement at all.

He's still an executive producer... which has meant nothing since day one.

I'm thinking about Emigrating to the UK. A person can handle so much freedom and 'Murican pride. :funny: :o

Well. ...at least over here, you don't have to fork out money if you've injured yourself :D

Yes, it's a bit like when they labeled Batman Forever "A Tim Burton Production." Basically just an excuse to attach his name to the film.

Just showed up for the meetings. That was it. :o

Nolan helped Goyer break the story for MoS. The two of them did their index cards the same as they did for the Batman movies, according to Goyer himself. The story credit was warranted.

This movie on the other hand will be the one where he probably has no input at all and basically gets a nice fat check for allowing WB to use his name. 'Murica!

Yeah and he had meetings with Zack and hired him and his wife. He handpicked the director. He got Zimmer on board. Producers have large roles even though they don't have to do much on set or write the script. But now he's only an executive producer which means he literally does nothing and gets payed for it. From what I know (maybe Im wrong) his name is used as well as Syncopy, his production company...and that's it. He's not a part of creative at all.

I just hope Ben compensates for Nolan taking the backseat.

Your signature made me picture Director Batman. With sunglasses and a ponytail and a megaphone. Little viewfinder in his utility belt. :hrt:

Actually Nolan had a bit more to do than that.

Burton is listed as EP because of a clause created by the directors guild that states if a director directs a movie and a sequel is made they get EP credit if they don't direct. I'm not sure if its still used but that's why Burton is EP on BF.
