I don't know if this was posted yet. Season 2 is almost here, and season one left so many questions. So, this being a discussion board, lets discussion.

How/will Nate survive? I guess it would be pretty easy, he just flys away before Peter goes off. I didn't see the point of Nate flying with Pete anyways, Pete can fly by himself, but I guess it was for dramatic effect.

How/will Sylar survive? He doesn't seem to have healing powers, but he took other peoples power that they didn't show.

Who were in Linderman's group? I'm guessing Charles Deveux, the Petrelli parents, Hiro's dad, and possibly Nikki's dad. I remember DL saying something to Nikki like, "If you work with Linderman, you'll be no better then your dad." Maybe Claude (or Clyde) was in the group.

What power's would they have? Charles Deveux I'm guessing Astral Projection.

Did Simone have any powers? I see this pattern in Heroes of children inhereting powers from thier parents (Nikki, DL, and Mieka; Nate's mom, Nate, and Claire, Possibly Hiro's Dad and Hiro) Maybe Simone's Hero gene is recessive.

How did Syler take peoples power? I always thought that he actually ate the brain, and the specific power that the gene created would be synched with his own. Or, the gene can theoretically let anyone who has it have any power. So, Sylar said the sees, "how things work", so maybe he sees how peoples brain uses the gene, and learns how to do it himself.

What was the whole purpose of Linderman's OWI? Why was he tracking and monitoring Heroes?

Who was the person that Molly said was worse than Sylar? I also noticed that three different terms were being used when they where talking to Molly. Sylar specifically, the "boogieman", and the thing worse then the boogieman. She also said that the thing worse then the boogieman was in the building.

They never cleared up the Nikki/Jessica issue? Was it split personalities, or was Jessica's soul really in Nikki. My theory is that Nikki was the one that really died, and Jessica felt so guilty about not protecting Nikki that she actually took on the persona of Nikki. The whole split personality thing didn't happen until after her dad reminded her. After Jessica remembered the death, her original personality started to dominate.

Thats all I can think of right now.

It truly amazes how much this point continues to come up despite it being explained logically a multitude of times.

And I'm glad there's only little more than a week till season 2.

What is the explanation?

I've never seen the explanation as I'm still new to the show, but I'd guess being on the verge of exploding wouldn't really keep Peter in a right state of mind. It seemed to require quite a bit of discipline for Peter to determine which powers he used and when. He was probably paniacing and simply couldn't.

DING, DING, DING!

Bingo!

Yahtzee!

Our survey says...

:woot:

For some reason. I think that Peter amd Syler switched life forces and are in each others body and bot have amneisa.

I don't know why that has come to me. That would be a major story. We know that Peter is alive and locked up. The other heroes rescue him and he turns out to be Sylar.

I don't think Peter and Sylar switched life forces. I think Peter has amnesia and doesn't know how to use his powers. That's how can be locked up like that.

How/will Nate survive?

I wish he wouldn't. It'll most likely be some combination of Peter saving him/protecting him and some aspect of Nathan being in flight.

But I'd be much Happier if Candace just took his place.

How/will Sylar survive? He doesn't seem to have healing powers, but he took other peoples power that they didn't show.

Sylar's a little tougher than most, and its not just TK. Remember, this guy took a blow from Nikki... and just like a roach, he can survive a stabbing or two.

Who were in Linderman's group?

Better question: Who killed Papa Petrelli... and is he really dead? Obviously we've heard Mr. Linderman, Mama Petrelli, Charles Deveaux, Kaito Nakamura, and Papa Petrelli. They, however aren't the Linderman Group, the Linderman Group is Linderman's present-day company.

What power's would they have? Charles Deveux I'm guessing Astral Projection.

Charles seems to have a catch-all Dream Power, like little Sanjog in India, since, well, all of his "astral projection" occurs in conjunction with sleep.

Did Simone have any powers?

No, she obviously didn't. If she had powers, she wouldn't have been completely skeptical. Did Simone have the capability to manifest powers? Perhaps, but I guess now we'll never know. I hope they continue to have non-powered characters around, to keep the skeptical vibe.

How did Syler take peoples power? ...Sylar said the sees, "how things work", so maybe he sees how peoples brain uses the gene, and learns how to do it himself.

I'm not sure how he got TK, but after that, he could TK brain surgery himself. It's fun to think he ate brains, but

Who was the person that Molly said was worse than Sylar? ...She also said that the thing worse then the boogieman was in the building.

I don't remember her saying this, but I hope the villain is suitably epic. It sounded like it could be Sauron for all we know.

They never cleared up the Nikki/Jessica issue?

Well split personality doesn't explain the mark on Jessica's back... it's pretty clear that there was a power involved in both of them being in her head. And the power wasn't superstrength. Two powers = two people. I don't think they could have explained it much better without going too deeply into "power theory."

My questions:

Who runs the company?
Tell me more about Dana Davis' character :)
What was up with The flashing of Sylar's eyes in the last episode? Is he amnesiatic? Is he without his powers?
When will Claire and Micah get to hang out together?

You know since I heard rumors that the Invisible Man will come back in Season 2 I always wanted to know who he was hiding from the company.

i just hope the action scenes are better in this season than last... last season despite a big budget for a TV show had some really **** action... I've seen Star Trek TNG action scenes better choreographed than the crap action we got on here... particularly the lame ass finale between Sylar and Peter.
