sSo far in the show we have family members having powers of there own like Nikki/Jessica, Micha and DL along with Nathan, Peter and now Claire and her mother. With revolution we found out that Hiro has a sister and we met his father. Do think Hiro's family will return, especially his sister with powers of their own?

If Hiro's family...or any other family for that matter, show that they have super powers...I will lose a significant amount of interest in this show.

George Takei said he's in at least 3 episodes and so is Miss Nakamura. As for the powers being inherited well there's proof that they are so, I'm fine with that to be honest. BTW I have the suspicion that Hiro will journey way into the past and will go under the guise of the Samurai of the stories told by his father...

Yeah. Gotta hate it when a show is consistent about its genetics.

I don’t think it necessarily has to run in the family, but, when two people with abilities have a child, that child has a much high chance of developing powers, though, it doesn’t seem to be consistent, the powers are random, no two people that we know of, have the same power (not counting peters or sylars ability to take powers from others)

lets see, so far we got
walking through walls + multiple personality/she hulk lol = techno path
fling man + pyro/fire starter = regeneration

although, in the case of Nathan and Peter, it is possible that one or both of they parents have a power, I mean, what are the odds of those two having powers, out of all the (what was it something like 36?) people around the country/world on the list, being brothers
it might be revealed that they father had a power at some point, maybe even they mom, who knows

I don't want to sound nitpicky...but I believe they revealed Claire's dad too soon for my tastes. They should've ended the cliffhanger of "Distractions" with a clue instead of a full revelation.

Claire's mom was revealed only an episode ago...I wish they had kept the secret about her father just a little longer.

Didn't Suresh's sister have powers? Which was the reason his father started researching people with powers. That would mean that Suresh might have powers after all.

I don't think it's out of the question for them to have powers... obviously it is genetic, so it's possible. It doesn't mean it *has* to go that way though, just that the likelihood increased. What I think and hope is that Hiro's sister and father will remain powerless. The show doesn't need everyone to have powers. We have plenty of very interesting characters with powers.

what I don't get is that when Claire asked the Haitian about her parents he responded saying "they worked for your father, like i do." When did Nathan work for HRG?

He was probably just giving her false information anyways.

Wasn't Nathan in the military, perhaps they worked together there.

She was talking about the people that Mr.Bennett pretended were her parents. I don't remember which episode it was, but he told her he had managed to track them down & this man and woman came to the Bennett's home and talked to Claire. When they left, Mr.Bennett escorted them outside and they said something about coming back if he needed them, so it was pretty obvious that they actually worked for him.

I believe in another thread somebody said that the man who pretended to be Claire's father was the guy that Sylar killed when he escaped.

that would explain it. I dunno though,it seemed like she meant her real parents in the context of the conversation. I have to rewatch it
