Now Introducing HBO Max Classic

I have a special needs daughter that is obsessed with Esme and Roy on HBO Max... I was keeping my subscription for that reason alone. But they're taking that off too. So f*** 'em, I'm canceling my subscription.

I’m going to keep mine because of the TCM catalogue. If they start removing those then yeah it’s game over for me.
They're supposedly moving those titles to a separate service, IIRC.

I continue to hate what I’m seeing because it’s unpredictable what will be removed next. And without a physical release, these shows and movies will be lost forever.

Someone's probably ripped most of this stuff into digital format and put it online. Just have to find it.

It's terrible that Discovery is forcing the community into this situation.

Oh good, now all I need is to get Dexter’s Laboratory and Looney Tunes (my daughter’s favorites) physically then I can kiss this service goodbye.

Streaming is seeing a dark development right now. Netflix is cracking down on password sharing and turning to ads at a premium. Disney is increasing their prices and including ads as well for the old price. Now HBO Max is getting gutted and scrapped for parts all in the name of money. Amazon is increasing their prices for Prime and Prime Video.

I canceled Disney + already. I don’t care for any of the Star Wars or Marvel content, and I’m just buying Blu-rays of all the Pixar and Disney movies my family and I enjoy.

maybe I’ll come back in 2024 when Daredevil releases. And only if it’s good.

Plex master race!

I’m kind of stuck with HBO Max because I got the annual plan back when I thought new movies would land there after 45 days. But it’s still my most used streaming service just from the number of movies alone.

If you cancel you’ll get a partial refund. I’ll wait til next year to see where everything lands before deciding if I cancel. If crappy reality shows are the forefront, the adios Zas

I got it through Apple and not HBO Max directly unfortunately

I haven't been back to my HBO Max account for a few weeks now, and since they seems be getting rid of more and more content each day, I've been asking myself whether I want to go back to it all.

So far, I have some a couple movies, some TGIF shows to finish, and I'm just about finish with ER. I was just rebilled last week, so I'm good for another month, but I'm REALLY considering letting my subscription run out after this. It seems like HBO Max is just straying further and further away from what I originally signed up for.
