Film Now Introducing HBO Max Classic

General Film
happy endings ranks high in my all time comedies list. loved that show and really found it's legs in season 2. each character was fantastic and all equally hilarious. the writing was so damn good that you had to watch the episode a few times to catch all the stuff said - they talk fast lol.

Was Superman & Lois on there before? I can't recall seeing it. In any case, it's on there now.

I’m cautiously optimistic about the show but I’ve been burnt before with CW shows...

New for May. I might have to rewatch Cable Guy. Haven’t seen that in ages. And the first Mortal Kombat to wash down the new version.

I noticed that the Extended Editions of the Lord of the Rings trilogy have been added. I might check those out simply to watch them without having to swap discs in the middle.

I think im finally gonna pull the trigger and finally watch it myself. Ive been wrestling with watching it since it came out last Fall, seems like a love it or “WTF?” it kind of movie.

Just be sure to do it with the captions on, lol.

I personally love it, but it's definitely Nolan's most "better watch this several times to grasp everything" movie. :funny:

I'm quite curious how this would have done in a non-pandemic world. Would it have mega flopped?

You mean GvK?? It dont think it wouldve flopped at all. I think it would have done well. Like 600-700M.

Yeah, most likely would have done even better Without HBO Max taking away some of its box office.

If we’re talking like the pandemic never happened and these movies were never delayed or pushed back, then yes I do think this movie would have flopped box office wise.

Anyone else watch "Made for Love"? I'm almost through it, and it's been enjoyable.

Have seen a few movie releases that were supposed to be "leaving" a couple months ago come back to HBO Max recently, i.e. The Witches of Eastwick, Logan's Run, and When Harry Met Sally, as a few examples. So those movies can be watched on there again now.

TENET is on there now too for anyone who missed its theatrical run! I did see it in theaters but going to be watching it again sometime to catch all the dialog with subtitles. ;)

Btw if anyone is thinking about watching The Dead Don't Die, it's one of the worst movies I've ever seen and I don't say that lightly. Total waste of time.

Yeah I remember getting excited about it based on the cast and the trailer. Then reviews came out and it was a pass.

I watched Free Willy the other night. They don’t seem to make family movies like that anymore.

looking forward the Michael Che sketch show this thursday they will release all episodes according to Che himself

Games of Thrones Twitter announced House of the Dragon coming to HBO Max in 2022. Does this mean it won’t be on regular HBO?
