O.m.i.t.

I took one for the team and read it
*It will run from Amz #637-640
*It tells the story of what happened the day of the wedding
*Will answer all questions
*JQ feels this part of a trilogy and has one more story to tell(OMD,OMIT,OMTTPOFOTM:One More Time To Piss Off Fans Of The Marriage)

The silence, I would like from Joe Q, not the message boards. He's gonna poke and prod at the feelings of the fans on the net between now and July with this.

I'm sure he will, but that's the nature of the beast. Hype and controversy catch attention and sales.

He seemed to have shut up about Spider-Man recently until this, it was working for him. He should have stuck with the strategy.

So nobody's talking about this? Quesada is saying that O.M.I.T will answer EVERYTHING.

He said it would answer everything "about the wedding day and what happened"... just to be clear.

:yay:

In that context it sounds like he's gonna fill in the blanks of the new BND status quo. We may never see what MJ whispered to Mephisto, this is Joey Q rewriting history. Nothing more nothing less. Don't set yourself up for disappointment people!

From the context of the interview with CBR, Quesada made it pretty clear i thought that all the BND plot holes are going to be answered. Honestly i could care less about what "really" happened on the wedding day, i think the questions that fans really want answered are "What did MJ whisper to Mephisto?", "How is Pete's identity back in the bottle after civil war?", "What happened to his organic webbing and his other enhanced Spider-powers?" or "What do people like Tony Stark remember about Peter and Spiderman during civil war?". THOSE are the questions i want answered.

What are you saying runawayboulder? That I aint got the mackin skills?

We need to see some macking skills before we can make an "assessment"... :cwink:

As long as Joe Q brings it up, we'll remind him why we hate it. :woot:

Man, good thing I didn't go to that convention. Between this and confirmation of the cancellation of The Spectacular Spider-Man . . .

Joe Q is determined to destroy my enjoyment of Spider-Man! :wall:

Moving on, Fine also commented on the recent news regarding the apparent end of the animated The Spectacular Spider-Man in lieu of the announcement of the all-new Ultimate Spider-Man animated series from Marvel Animation and Disney XD. Fine stated that while a press release is coming to clarify the matter, the end of The Spectacular Spider-Man came about due to Marvel Animation reacquiring the character’s animation rights, allowing Marvel full control over an animated series featuring Spider-Man for the first time in recent history. With the Spider-Man character animation rights back at Marvel, Sony Pictures Television opted to end any future production on The Spectacular Spider-Man. Since The Spectacular Spider-Man is a Sony Pictures Television product, and was produced and overseen by the company, it will be Sony’s decision on how to handle any further business with the late series.

Additionally, Marvel Animation president Joe Quesada . . .
