The poster has definitively got me interested in this. Love the design of that vehicle. And Tom Cruise is a great lead (and a great actor in general as his personal life has nothing to do with his acting).

I might just catch this in the cinema if the trailer delivers.

suprised that the interior desing looks like a white tron world. it looks very very good. good to see that a young director is using real locations for backgrounds combined with CGI.

to bad that we didnt get to see Tom Cruise running

Looks pretty amazing. Cruise's jet/copter thing and the other ships we saw look fantastic, and the dead Earth looks great. Looks like he's had some of his memory erased or replaced through some sort of Total Recall-like procedure. Definitely excited about this film.

Ya I have hopes for this one, Joesph I think has potential to be a great director, I liked a lot of the visuals of Tron: Legacy, so hopefully with such talented writers behind him, this will be something great, defiantly in my top 5 now for next year.

That was my first instinct when it came to Jack.

Olivia Wilde and Jeff Bridges were quite decent. My only beef was with Hedlund. He wasn't horrible, but he's not lead material in my opinion. Garrett is better off in supporting roles.

I don't know, I liked him in the role. I thought he had a cool, cocky James Dean-meets-James T. Kirk kind of appeal. The only time I didn't like him was at the end where they had him shouting stupid things when he was gunning down other ships. But that was more just some bad writing than anything to do with his performance.

Agree about real locations. I thought The Amazing Spider-Man will look similar because of Webb. Instead it was a disgusting green-screen ****.
