Excited about Fantomex in the Wolverine List issue. I loved that guy.

Who's the guy behind him? Couldn't quite recognize him. :(

At first I thought it was the dead Exile Mimic with the Talis, but then I looked closer and I think it might be Hank Pym in his new Wasp costume.

An odd choice... I thought maybe it was Maverick, but I have doubts. :(

KAAAAAAAAANG!!!! :D :D :D

Skaar looks mighty pissed, but that's basically his default mood so I don't think it necessarily means anything for the issue.

Brandon Peterson needs to stop doing whatever it is he's doing with computers that makes his covers look so ugly and stiff. Nova's helmet just looks ridiculous on that cover, for one thing.

The guy behind Fantomex looks most like Mimic to me. He's wearing short sleeves, it looks like, so that discounts Pym.

I can buy that that is Mimic, seeing as how he is a Dark X-man right now. Thanks. :)

Odd that it's the Exiles version, though. Maybe someone missed a memo...

Then again, where's his wings? :p

The Exiles version didn't have wings after a while. He flew with Northstar's power.

That wouldn't instead be that Captain Mar-vell dude that just walked off of the Dark Avengers team perhaps? (I probably have his name wrong...)

Oh snapple, you're right, that is Noh-Varr. The costume/gauntlet matches. I think what kept people from noticing is the fact that he's blonde there when in, y'know, every other appearance, he's got platinum hair.

Kang! :woot:

Its been too long since we last saw him. I was afraid they were saving him for some Young Avenger project.

And its Noh-Varr Aaron said that he would be playing around with two Morrison characters soon so it should be interesting.

Sounds good to me! :D I don't know the guy well but he interests me.

I have to say, that GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY cover with what appears to be Kang on it seems awesome. Will someone finally get the use the villain who has likely been on hold for Allen Heinberg for four years?

It also seems that Ben Reilly is coming back in ASM, and he's read from the WINTER SOLDIER HANDBOOK OF SURVIVING A RETCON. Gun, check. Dark clothes, check. Adversarial initial relationship with the title hero he used to be friends with? Check. And you thought Red Hood at DC was the only one ripping Brubaker's thunder. :p

The dark clothed gun totting person you are reffering to is a villain named Raptor, whose identity is Damon Ryder.

Damon has a very personal beef with Ben Reilly, so of course when he sees Peter Parker... you can fit the pieces here.

:yay:

I'm so happy to see Kang coming back. :D

I was afraid they were making him off limits also...but to see the Guardians fight him will be awesome.

I see Mary Jane on the cover of Models Inc. #3...

X-Solicits at CBR:
X-MEN VS. AGENTS OF ATLAS #1 (of 2)
Written by JEFF PARKER
Penciled by CARLO PAGULAYAN
Cover by ED MCGUINNESS
Variant by TBA
Zombie Variant by GERALD PAREL

It's a monster-sized throwdown as the Agents of Atlas go toe-to-toe with the Uncanny X-Men! Venus has been kidnapped and the Agents will scour the Earth to find her! The Uranian needs a bigger boost to enable his mind to scan the globe, and intel suggests the one machine that can help is CEREBRA- which brings the Agents of Atlas head to head with no less than THE X-MEN!
It's by the regular creative team; wait and see whether the regular series is solicited.

Otherwise, not much to remark on; lots of "classified" stuff. The cover for X-Force is great.

Yeah, it appears they're gonna be having some major announcement related to the x-titles at the SDCC. Hopefully it's something worthwhile.
