That's why you need a higher grade of good tape...

That is true. Any suggestions?

I agree.
When the day comes that I can finally get my hands on an AF #15... I AM GOING TO READ IT!!!!
I am going to smell the pages... I am going to throw myself into this book.
Then I will bag & board it and put it somewhere safe.

But that's where re-prints come in handy.I agree.

Dude that's lame. Paying for an autograph is lame I think. The store I was at had lame rules too in terms of getting to meet and greet/autograph. You had to buy something from their store of Erik's. I understand. The store makes money, etc.At NYCC 2011, both John Romita Sr. and Jr. were there signing autographs. I couldn't get one because I didn't have $10 in cash.
Lol. I hate when that happens man. I'm just really careful now taking them out.Yep. I was an idiot and had 3 pieces of tape on the bag, and all 3 got on the cover I almost had heart attack. Luckily the damage wasn't that bad.
I still tape them but I now take off the tape before pulling out any of my key issues.
Good, I thought I was the only one who does that. New and old comics. #weirdooh HELL yeah, nothin' beats the smell of 50 year old comic newsprint paper, I kid you not...
When are you getting it?I'm not going to wipe my butt with it... but I've waited my entire life to get this comic... so regardless of the price I pay, I AM going to read it... and try to savor as much of the moment as I can... because it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
And it's not like I'm ever planning on selling it...
