lujho said:I had this thought today, actually - David Bowie as Brainiac.
He'd wear some kind of costume, except for his head, which would be full of mo-cap dots (Andy Serkis style). Then the face would be CGI - a green android face with the unearthly apparance of the young Bowie. It wouldn't be hard to have it look totally photo-real these days.
So you'd get his voice, his performance, and the way he looked 30 years ago. How ****ing awesome would that be?
Kane said:Hugo Weaving with a shaved head.
Kane said:lol I changed my mind since then though.
We just need a strong VOICE ACTOR.
Brainiac himself, should not be played by an actor.....its too cheesy.
It should be like the STAS version.
Superman79 said:I think they should have a human form for the beginning of the movie. Kind of an "charm and infultrate" thing.
Kane said:Nah, if hes tied to the Kryptonian Crystal tech, that'd be strange.
He will be a machine....Im sure there will be someone in the suit, but he shouldnt have a human appearance.
echostation said:They will never do Braniac cuz he's far too expensive to have... an all digital humanoid figured Robotic villain that will have to be mostly CG. I mean it's not like he's a Cyborg which is all covered by skin. You're going to see all the metallic stuff and crap
It'll really annoy me if they make Braniac like in Smallville a Cyborg... do it the right way if they're going to do it and even in that... it's going to be too friggin difficult. Full CG oriented performance... one of the main reason's for the Hulk's failure, though a lot of the CG in that was good.
I think here they might use prosthetics or enhanced make up... but other than that I don't ever see them doing Braniac...
They most likely will do BIZARRO, cuz all that will take is make up and prosthetics on a huge actor...
