Geez,all the way back in grade school,haha.My buddies would always swap comics.My one friend always tried to give me Deadpool but I was never interested.Some characters click for me,some don't.

You can't go wrong with Deadpool. 616, not-a-Bendis-written-Ultimate-racist-robot Deadpool, that is.

Don't even remind me about Ultimate Deadpool. His characterizaton sucked and the story was horrible.

I dunno man. Deadpool has never in any way even remotely qualified as a hero to me. He's kinda funny, kinda cool kinda interesting.
Mostly though he's an irredeemable psychotic sociopathic ******.

Dont get me wrong, I love Cable/Deadpool because IMO Cable gives it direction. Deadpool left to his own isnt interesting to me because it's just him being a murderous jerk. Cable/Deadpool centers around stories about Cable from Deadpool's point of view. Which balances things out nicely.

Also Cable makes a pretty decent straight man which Deadpool deffinitely needs.

He's not a ******, and he's hardly a sociopath. He may be very self centered and rather dilusional, but he's got a heart, and tends to do thr right (or at least better) thing after a while.

well okay technically he's not ******ed but with the brain damage and the uber-hyperactive attention deffecit disorder he's pretty damn close.
and he is too a sociopath. He murders people constantly for no damn reason without a thought to the consequences and has never shown any amount of remorse or guilt over it.

Murders for no damn reason? I've never seen that. The only times I've seen him killing is when he's getting payed (which is most of the time), and when he has a personal vendetta. And, as I said, he tends to do the right thing after a while.

The first example that springs to mind is him throwing Peter Parker off a bridge just because Parker was sitting there.
