i don't know who's saying what, but my issue has nothing to do with the humor in the movie.

i just can't stand the god awful trailer.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

The trailer got me excited for this movie and got me interested in the character of Green Lantern. Thanks to this trailer I am now a big Green Lantern fan(I hadn't gotten into GL before but after seeing the trailer I bought my first GL comics, TPB's of Rebirth and Secret Origin).

I think that says something about this trailer being effective. May not excite people already familiar with the character that much but that's not who it's aimed at.

The trailer was disappointing, but the more I see of stuff like the guardians and parallax is making me super hyped for this.

How can you tell? They're wearing long robes and not standing near anything to compare.

They have blue skin, have see-through skulls (yes they all have it), and maybe four fingers, what more do we nead, antennae? Cat eyes? Octopus lips? Those wouldn’t be Guardians.

As stated, the robes disguise their true height, they are probably playing with the illusion and saving it for a reveal, emphasizing how irrelevant size is to the power of the mind and will, which is kind of the point of the Guardians.
