something like this.

@ Kane52630 : There was nothing wrong with 'Scorpion' not having long hair in the first place, it was a obtuse and irrational creative decision to give him long hair in the Mortal Kombat web series. You of all people should know that if something isn't broken that it doesn't need to be fixed.

I rest my case.

Except for the damn toes,I really f'n love the suit!

Ditto. So, the special effects have improved some more ever since the footage was shown at CinemaCon and WonderCon. :)

btw just curious, how am I of all people should know that if something isn't broken that it doesn't need to be fixed?

i cant say im too impressed with the new pics. i guess they're okay, but that damn cgi suit.....oh, and the toes are weird....

I'm sorry. I hate the feet. Call me ol' fashioned, I just don't wanna see a superhero's little piggy going to the market while he's fighting that evil. I'm not saying it's gonna ruin the movie or anything, just saying. For me it highlights the idea that if the ring runs out of power or stops running for any reason, he's gonna be completely naked. With not even a pair of shoes on. :))

This isn't a Quentin Tarantino movie (Although it almost was). So, don't expect foot close-ups.

The suit looks just fine. :hal:

Please stop whiny trolls with your non sense about the toes? Give me a break! There won't be any close ups of toes!

Ov vey!

I can't wait to see how the 3D trailer looks like. I'm going to see Thor in 3D just for the 3D Green Lanntern trailer.....hope they did a good job with the post conversion.

Exactly. I'd be it's not noticable at all in the movie.

Am I the only one who feels like there is more black on the suit in these shots and that it looks way better?

With the track record of post 3D conversion films I highly doubt it will look great in 3D. As a fan of 3D i'm actually going to see this in regular 2D (along with the other post 3D films coming out this year).

If you want 3D, FILM it in 3D.

The GL suit looks better than Halloween costume style Thor suit.

Fanboys....get over yourselves and your stupid predictable complaints....especially about toes, that won't even be seen onscreen? LMAO!

Over the top "fanboys" and "fangirls", never cease to amaze me with their narrow minded stupidity.

Sounds like we need a poll to make sure.

Have you actually seen the entire movie?

No?

Then shut up about what is or isn't going to be in it. We don't know how the costume will be used or what shots are going to be used. People have a right to complain about the look of THESE images. And green feet look silly. They just do. On any superhero besides the Hulk. It's not a case of Chris Evans wearing prostethic feet for ONE action sequence. When people complained about those prostethics looking fake, that was indeed stupid. But these are official promotional images right? Like the thing that is supposed to be ADVERTISING the movie, the thing that is supposed to stay on people's minds and get them in the theater. And it's just silly.

It would've been better to just keep that part black so the toes would not be so defined. Yeah, I understand then there would be a problem of not being faithful to the comic book version, but since we have a sheen of energy instead of clothes, the whole concept of comic book accuracy (pertaining to the costume) is out the window anyway.

I assume you are a lady? What do you think of the abs and butt? BTW, if the ring runs out of power his regular clothes return. The power ring has a way of transubstantiating matter in an almost godly fashion.

The butt is covered in black, so is the crotch area and abs are ALWAYS highlighted. Even the frakkin' spartans wore sandals though. :p

Or were you asking if I as a female find them attractive?

How, exactly are they going to do that ??

This movie has some heavy CGI generated special effects that are done inside the rooms of the Special effects company, not on tha locations with a camera.

Only way they can make the whole movie in 3D is to convert the CGI generated shots while creating them on their computers.

As far as feet are concerned, suit is a hard light construct, even when the ring bearer is not manifesting his will power, the suit still functions and protects the life form as long as the ring has enough charge.

It is like a default setting, maybe as the GL member learns how to use ring and will power effectively, the suit can be modified a bit, but not much.

If we look carefully, Kilowog and Tomar Re also have feet.

Seriously, do you expect Hal Jordan to start dropkicking Hammond while shouting "LOOK AT MY F***ING ENERGY TOES! LOOK AT THEM!"
