Yeah... good luck with that. It would have to be pretty damn bad for that to happen.

"Fail" is an overstatement, but I won't be surprised if it underperforms and the price gets dropped faster than normal.

Have there been reports about the official price? I'm pretty sure it will be high because of the tablet controller.

so, i beat Super Mario 3D Land 100%, any reason for me not to sell it on ebay?

I feel like selling games once you beat them is like selling movies once you've watched them. And who does that with movies? People buy new editions of movies they've seen thousands of times, and some people treat video games like they're disposable, then whine about how they sold all their favorite games years later.

Oh, ok, fair enough. I thought you meant complete failure.

Eh, some games, IMHO... if they o ffer you NOTHING after you beat it then they deserve to be sold. I only buy movies I know I'll watch more than once so..

Mario, while a good game, has nothing for you once you've beaten it. I'll probably be trading it in as well.

Trading for RE: Revelations?

Binding of Isaac Denied 3DS Release Over Religious Concerns
Super Meat Boy was supposed to be a WiiWare game, too.

We won’t be seeing Edmund McMillen’s The Binding of Isaac on 3DS, unfortunately. McMillen revealed over Twitter that Nintendo has denied the game’s possible port over religious concerns.

“Attention: After a long internal debate Nintendo has decided NOT to allow the Binding of Isaac on the 3ds. :(“ said the designer. “As many assumed the reasons were due to the games "questionable religious content". Thank GOD Steam exists!”

The Binding of Isaac is not the next game from Team Meat, McMillen’s other outfit that produced 2010’s Super Meat Boy. Team Meat is working on another project, and McMillen made The Binding of Isaac as a post-release breather. The game’s best described as, well, a Zelda-inspired roguelike.

You should really play it.

That's a shame. Isaac's gameplay is a big throwback to Zelda and the 3DS would be a great way to experience it. Hopefully Nintendo will eventually loosen up their rules so the eShop can house games like this.

Also, if Super Meat Boy somehow found its way to the 3DS, I would immediately buy a 3DS.

I still play Meat Boy to this day. It didn't come out for WiiWare, because it was too big for what Nintendo allows. But yes, if Meat Boy ever came out for 3DS, I would pick it up immediately.

If you like Meat Boy, and have an iPhone, I would recommend League of Evil. It's surprisingly precise, and the levels are short like Meat boy.

I'm thinking of getting a new handheld device, how is the 3DS? Pros, cons?

Best Buy is currently having a great sale all this week. In the purchase of a 3DS, you get 2 free games. (Pilotwings & Steel Diver)

Nintendo is desperate, what happens if they go bankrupt?

I doubt that will happen & sales should pick up with more games on the horizon & I can't wait to get Mario Tennis.

Sales already picked up the moment Mario 3D Land was released. Then a few weeks later Mario Kart 7 spiked the 3DS sales again.

Kid Icarus is also helping sales.

Anyone know of a link about upcoming or future 3DS games?

Anyone getting the Midnight Purple 3DS on 5/20??

I'm planning on maybe getting a purple one if Nintendo doesn't announce a hardware revision and/or a Majora's Mask limited edition akin to the Ocarina of Time limited edition at E3.

One question. Why is Nintendo lagging behind in putting SNES games for download?? They've got a virtual gold mine & effing it up.

I really have no idea. I want to get A Link to the Past so badly, but they haven't released any SNES games.

Here's a few games I REALLY want:

With these, I'd die happy. :yay:

Super Star Wars
Super Empire Strikes Back
Super Return of the Jedi
Super Mario World
Zombies ate my Neighbors
