I totally agree, the problem is, when marketing these soundtracks regardless of how heavy the actual song is a band like Disturbed would be snubbed, mostly due to them being labelled a Metal band. The fact is for some reason and I believe that reason is sony, the soundtracks have consisted mainly of the emo/punk rock genre, which is strange to me as I consider this overall genre to represent the pinnacle of low music, and yet these movies are of such high quality, it feels like the only low points of the franchise.

On a related note to the original post, Down With The Sickness would also be an apt song, if we considered the symbiote suit an illness, which in theory is what it is, slowly consuming it's owner.
