Sci-Fi Tron Legacy - v2.0

That's pretty cool. I haven't gotten around to check out Uprising.

Uprising was fantastic. If it's still on Netflix, fans of the film should check it out.

Watched this for the 1st time in 3D tonight, was awesome, one of the few really good 3D experiences I have had, and this was just on a TV, cant imagine how amazing it must have been in the cinema.

is this official? holly sh.... is this a good song.

The rapping would not have fit in the movie at all. Very glad that wasn't in the film.

Kaskade, Avicii, Armin Van Buuren to Release EDM Remixes of Disney Songs

Ashley Lee said:
Also getting a refresher are two of Daft Punk's Tron: Legacy tracks and the Sebastian Ingrosso/Axwell collaboration for Monsters University, as well as the theme parks' Main Street Electrical Parade music.

"I feel incredibly honored to have remixed an Oscar-winning song -- though I didn't know that yet when I started," said Van Buuren in a statement on his version of "Let It Go," while Avicii commented, "My first remix of Daft Punk's TRON: Legacy was so long ago, but it was a significant moment of recognition in my career. It's great to be a part of it again, to refresh the track, and to let everyone hear Negin's voice."

Instead of building around TRON: Ares, the smarter play is a trilogy that connects TRON: Uprising to TRON: Legacy and pushes the story forward.

Uprising already set the stage:
  • Beck inherits Tron’s mantle
  • Clu’s regime is crumbling
  • The ISOs’ fate is still unknown
A trilogy could follow the arc:
Rebellion → Collapse → Rebirth of the Grid
all while tying back to Flynn, Quorra, and the unresolved legacy of the ISOs.

Fans don’t want a disconnected spin-off they want closure to the story that Uprising and Legacy began. There’s already lore, momentum, and emotional investment.
