I love it a little less than I love Tom Jane's Punisher film, and I do love both films

Right on. I prefer Jane as the character, I just like the story from the Lundgren flick a lot, with the Yakuza and Frank being forced to work with the mob and what not. I think if you took the back story and parts of the origin from Jane's film and plugged that with him into the '89 flick with some updated action and goddamn SKULL on his chest, you'd have a pretty great Punisher flick.
