Oo. that last one stings. :csad:

It's really a shame that America has come to this. Say what you want about George Bush, but he is our current president.

Doesn't this nation have morals or respect anymore? Spoofing someone or making jokes about Bush on SNL is one thing, but to create an entire film dedicated to making our nation's president look like a complete idiot is just beyond ridiculous.

The posters show Bush as an idiot and the world must be laughing at us right now.

Yeah it's too soon for a biopic.... we got all the Kennedy stuff years later. Although Primary Colors was pretty much the same deal accept it wasn't an actual biopic and that was done in the height of everything or a year after everything that went down with Clinton. This isn't the first time this has happened. But they didn't have to make it so blatantly obvious even though it already is. The Obama movie could be out next Fall at this rate.

with will smith or denzel playing obama. I honestly wouldn't be surprise if it is somehow in the making, and if he wins the election...

I didn't know primary colors is about clinton. good movie? i might have to catch that.

Josh Brolin really is an amazing actor. I have known ever since he stole that little girls bike in The Goonies.

"Anyone can grow up to be president"

Ouch! lol

Brolin sounds just like Bush in that behind the scenes clip.

This movie is going to get a lot of applause and a lot of bashing.

The Empire article left me disappointed. I was hoping that this movie would show Bush for the crooked, murdering sleazeball that he is, but it doesn't sound like it's going to delve that far into it. If it did though, Stone would have probably been shipped off to Guantanamo Bay, so I guess I can understand why he would pull his punches a bit.

Yeah.

Is this suppose to be funny? Because, the trailer had everyone laughing in my theatre...

It's somewhat of a satirical biopic. If he wasn't leaving office, I doubt he could get away with it to be honest.

Brolin and Stone seem like they are not ignoring Bushs unintended humor, but I think Stones earlier quotes about the movie are the best interpretation of the movie. One saying "The movie is how a drunk frat boy became President" and the other "I consider myself liberal but when I met George Bush I knew he would be President" Not word for word quotes. I think the concept of a man who is seen as a joke, for all intents and purposes is usually a joke, but still has some sort of charisma and/or intelligence or whatever the case may be to make it to the top will be the selling point of the movie.
