Onslaught vs Dark Phoenix

I still believe professor x will turn into onslaught in x-men 4, but looking at dark phoenix you fans know how powerful she is. but do you think if she is more powerful than onslaught or can she defeat onslaught

In the comics, yes, Phoenix/Dark Phoenix is more powerful than Onslaught I believe . . .

The episode in which Xavier is bad and turns on the X-men was lifted from a minor plot within the Phoenix Saga in the comics. No, I don't believe that was Onlsaught. I think that was just the dark side of Xavier, whereas Onslaught is a combination of both Xavier's dark repressed side in conjunction with that portion of Magneto's mind Xavier took from Magneto during the Fatal Attractions arc.

Onlsaught is Xavier's dark side coupled with the dark side of Magneto's psyche that Xavier attempted to wipe from Magneto . . . hence the reason Onslaught's first form takes on the similar appearance of Magneto . . . but Onlsaught isn't comprised of only Xavier's dark side.

Haha. Yeah, Onslaught was a bit much, and by the end of it, it seemed to only serve as a plot device for the relaunch of other Marvel titles. It seems like after a while, they kind of didn't know what to do with it.
