This thread is for discussion on the book Origin, the one that describes Logan/James Howlett's childhood

I personally love the book and the twist  :O

edit:dammit I just noticed I misspelled "Origin" :(
could a mod please fix this?

^ur not the only one. I made a mistake and put the same thread down twice, 2 times!!! And i misspelled a word wrong 2. So join the club!lol

Its Ok. These Official threads are new.

This book was kinda spoiled for me because I knew James Howlett was Wolverines real name before I read it, but it was great none-the-less.

the whole

thing with the story kinda making you think Wolverine was Dog then it twisting and going BOOM.....you're wrong, its the pansy boy who couldn't say his "R"'s was great :O

Yup. I always thought Sabertooth was Dog, despite the scar. But a writer said that was not his inentions at all.

It would have been kinda cool, I also like how you see Wolverine first hearing and using bub, and basically just him as a normal human being who has to get tough or die

Yeah. I was kinda disapointed that "Orgins" was not a 2nd volume of this book.

I wasn't really impressed with the story for Origin. I liked the art and in and of itself it wasn't bad, but it didn't feel like it should be the history for Wolverine/Logan.

There was no point of discovery, it was like they were just telling this story. I mean it's not like Wolverine has any knowledge of what happened. IMO I think it should have been about Wolverine discovering this part of his life.

I'm not sure I liked the idea of him starting out as some rich, wussy boy. I don't think this history really served his character much or did him justice. Plus it takes away from the mystique of the character.

Someone must have looked all the way at the old thread and brung this up because i remember posting something on here.
