Orm’s Tsunami

I’ll cut to the chase here, in Aquaman, Orm sent tsunamis to various places around the world, washing your warships and trash.

For obvious reasons, he wasn’t included in the film, but had Superman got involved, is he able to operate underwater, and could he take on the might of Orm and the armies of Atlantis?

Good question. I think superman can hold his breath for a long period of time and can obviously travel through space so he doesn’t have a problem with pressure but if orm held him down long enough he could potentially get the drop on him or deprive him of the sunlight that gives him his powers.

either way even if he did get involved politically Orm would spin it so superman getting involved is just another example of airbreathers getting involved in Atlantan affairs so sooner or later people would probably turn to orm anyway. That’s why you need Arthur in the story
