Anybody think or know if there is gonna be any other vehicles in TDK or any Nolan bat films. Such as Bat bike batr boat or bat plane?

there was a rumor about a motorcycle a while back.

if there is a ferry scene in the harbour that probably means a there's a batboat as well. unless batman really enjoys long distance swimming. I'd also expect some new tricks from the Tumbler.

actually, i wouldn't be suprised if the tumbler was water-able. Not deep sea diving, but think about it. It was designed to jump rivers. It could very well be adaptable to water. And those big ass hoovier tires could definatly push it, not sure if the boost option would be available lol.

yeah it could drive in shallow water but no way is that thing gonna float. harbours are deep

I was hoping for maybe a jazzed up ,tricked out Murcielago.
Something he could drive around the city in and not be noticed as being Batman but still have the ability to kick ass when needed.
Or maybe an everyman's car that he could leave parked in the city and no one would notice it or mess with it. But it still had Bat toys in it.

if there is, I'd only want to see if used if it had a real purpose to it. not just a motorbike to have a bike. why would he use a bike instead of the Tumbler? they'd have to answer that for me.

a batboat would have a purpose because he needs to get to the ferries.

and a bike can get you through Gotham without crushing everything in your path.

Ach, not this crap again.

No more vehicles, please. The Tumbler is more than enough. If he needs to get out on the water, let him improvise. Screw it. I'm tired of Bat-everything.

Maybe he can just trade in the Tumbler for the Bat-SegWay. :o

I would totally love a bike. You can't beat a good motorcycle chase; the possibilities for amazing stunts are too juicy. Not even Ghost Rider took full advantage of it.

The Tumbler is good for making a statement; but when Bats really wants to get around fast (without causing millions in property damage), he should use the bike.

theres defiently some sort of huge chase sequence-if the cop are after batman...

If there's any chase sequence in TDK or Batman 3, it should top the one in Begins. A bike is the way to do it.

meh, not big on the bike idea. The Jet, the plane, the boat, all work for me. But no other land mobiles. No sense in that.

Not to mention the whole "Incredibles" thing = Capes = Problems.

Motorcyle + Cape = Problems.

this what you had in mind Keyser? :cwink:

no I think think don't 'screw it' - give a billionaire action hero the toys he needs to get the job done and make a cool movie. Most importantly I think the audience (and the WB merchandise department) kind of expect a new vehicle. It doesn't have to be superfluous and gimmicky, hell if it's anything like the Tumbler you can be sure it won't be. And it's more exciting than a re-breather and fins, or the other alternative is too catch a ride on an airplane and glide in on his cape.

Heh, I can see it now:

"There are a couple of ferries rigged to explode in the Gotham Harbor! Fox! Do you have any neat boats?!?!"

I get that the boat would come in awful handy for the scene, but he'll hardly have time to get one in time for the scene.

^ not if Batman clues it together in time :cwink:

actually now I think about it he should come to the ferries from either above or below, as in below the water. Suddenly a submersible rocket type breaches up from depths, or he jumps in silently from a glider. I don't really see him commandeering a water taxi.

Nice Manip. And a Bat-cycle or BAt-bike would be a nice addition.

The boat is the way to go with Nolan's realistic approach. With the harbor, Wayne Manor being on the water, and all the canals running inside the city makes it great for quick transportation. It also makes sense since The Narrows is also on an island.......

What about those scuba things the Navy SEALs use? I could see Bats being towed around underwater by one. It would also fit his stealthy nature.

I think using the Dodge Tomahawk as a base design for a motorcycle would be cool, I don't see a bike being compatible with the cape, based on the level of realism these movies are looking to adopt.

i've actually had an idea for a long time about a "sidekick" vehicle to the Tumbler: a high speed combat-grade motorcycle i call the "Scrambler"; its got all the combat features the Tumbler has (minus a few of the more heavy combat features) and can actually reach high enough speeds that its able to use its momentum to temproarily move along a vertical surface.

It's stealthy because it looks like a dolphin :o

No seriously something like this would be pretty cool. It's fast and submersible and can jump completely out of the water (and maybe onboard a deck?) Could make it look like a manta ray so it's more bat like.

You know I was watching Futureweapons the other day and they had this tank thing that was for dispatching troops onto land from water and it was totally submersible and super fast on both land and water. I'll try and get a link but that thing was wicked cool and something like that could be made by Waynetech if the Tumbler was or even have the Tumbler be something like that or advanced to that.

Edit: it was on the Feb. 19th episode called "First Strike" and here's the link to the episode guide but I couldn't really find anything else.

You mean this thing Ryan? The Stilletto. I like the no-nonsense design (well yeah, stealth) and the arches at the front.

This kinda matches the Tumbler. One good thing out of The Batman cartoon.
