Pencils, Inks And Colours...

Okay, here's the finished version of my character 'RA'...

your pencils are amazing. i must admit i think they loose a great portion of their flare in the translation to inks, and then colors. =X

Nice. How long does (on average) does it take you do do a drawing...without inks and colors?

With details like these it usually takes me an hour or two, that is without interruptions...
I'm not a very fast drawer...:o Thank Btw!:yay:
 
Here's an origianl character I made for a friend... Her name's IOLYTE...

 
Some very nice work on here. I really like your Thanos pic.

The thing is with your pencils you are using a lot of subtle shading techniques with them which you just can't accomplish with pen and ink. I would suggest using more hatching techniques if you are planning to ink these pieces in the future. Or use ink washes which will give you your blacks and allow the subtle shading by watering down your ink.

Thats totaly what i was gonna say
Washes building up lighter to darker tones of grey then the final black.Your style would benefit and compliment
